In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Cyrus Todiwala

A chef, restaurateur, educationist, author, and entrepreneur, Cyrus Todiwala runs four immensely popular restaurants, including the world's oldest Michelin BIB Gourmand restaurant "Cafe Spice Namaste" and "Mr.Todiwala's Kitchen", which is part of the Hilton Curio Collection. In 2015, he appeared in the 'Incredible Spicemen', a BBC TV series and continues to appear regularly on BBC Saturday Kitchen and the BBC 4 Food Programme. A Fellow of the Royal Academy of Culinary Arts, he also assists the Lord Lieutenant in the fulfillment of social and civic duties carried out on behalf of HM The Queen as Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London.

A skilled Musician, Record Producer, and Sound Engineer with over 20 years of professional experience, Sai Shravanam has created a benchmark quality in sound and music. Sought for his skills to record and produce for Artists, Composers & Major Record Labels across the world, he is the Sound Recordist & Additional Engineer for the Academy Award-winning film, "Life of Pi". He was also the first to be credited cumulatively as a Musician, Indian Music Producer, Music Arranger, Scoring and Recording Engineer for the British biographical drama film, "The Man Who Knew Infinity".
