Angad Daryani

Angad Daryani is a 23-year-old inventor and social entrepreneur from Mumbai. He’s the founder of a climate-tech moonshot company called Praan, Inc. which he founded out of his dorm room at Georgia Tech during his second year of college. Angad is an electrical engineer by degree and has worked on electric vehicles, clean energy storage, over-the-horizon radar systems, low-cost health tech, bioacoustics, rapid prototyping systems, and alternate hands-on-learning-based education. He has been a contributor to India’s national education policy and spends his time today building deep tech solutions for outdoor air purification and direct air capture of carbon dioxide.

Deepa Sathiaram is a leading international sustainability, HVAC, and wellness design professional. She has also been recognized and featured as one of the “top 5 women in sustainability in the world” by USGBC+ in early 2020. Her work includes many industry firsts including one of India's 1st LEED core & shell, 1st LEED-CI platinum, 1st net-zero energy buildings, 1st carbon-neutral organization, India's 1st carbon-neutral construction project, and India's 1st WELL v2 building project, among others.

Kapil Sharma

Kapil Sharma is the founder of SayTrees, the fastest growing community of nature-loving people with the mission- “Each one must plant one tree in a year”. Currently, SayTrees is planting lakhs of saplings every year. Together with his team, he has also worked on solar, waste, rejuvenating lakes, ponds, etc, and has created many urban forests in every major city in India. Kapil Sharma is a software professional who hails from Chhattisgarh. He moved to Bengaluru in 2001 and fell in love with the beautiful greenery in the city and years later he started noticing huge trees being brought down and was shocked at the rate the city’s green cover was vanishing. Deeply affected by this, he decided not to stay silent and as a conscientious citizen, he soon started planting trees across the city and as his journey proceeded, he met many nature lovers who helped him in starting his NGO SayTrees.

Neha Sinha is an award-winning wildlife conservationist and author of the critically acclaimed book, ‘Wild and Wilful’. Drawing on years of Neha's conservation experience, Wild and Wilful tells the story of 15 iconic Indian species. She heads Conservation and Policy at the Bombay Natural History Society. She has served in various committees on the environment, including the Delhi government's wetland committees, Central Zoo Authority's Research and Publication expert committee, and eBird India's Sensitive Species Committee. Apart from her active work in conservation, she is also a widely published environmental commentator and columnist. She studied biodiversity conservation at Oxford University and is a winner of the INLAKS
scholarship.

Her journey started with a simple question: ‘What can I do about Climate Change?’ From this was born Cool The Globe app to help citizens fight climate change in their day-to-day lives. Prachi is the first Indian citizen to be appointed on the advisory board of Climate Leadership Coalition alongside the prime minister of Finland and European Union Leaders. She is the youngest recipient of the prestigious Olive Crown Award for excellence in communicating
sustainability. Through Cool The Globe campaigns, Prachi has mobilized over 2 Million global citizens to tackle climate change through technology, advocacy, and grassroots action. She firmly believes that when ordinary citizens come together, miracles can happen.
Rahul Sankhe
President & Co-founder, SenseHawk
As a co-founder of SenseHawk, Mr. Rahul is building an enterprise-grade SaaS platform for Asset Lifecycle Management that leverages Machine Learning based analytics of data from autonomous systems such as UAVs to improve asset performance and returns. Prior to SenseHawk, Mr. Sankhe oversaw the development of over 2 GWs of solar PV power plant assets across India, Southeast Asia, South Africa, and Australia at SunEdison. He has an extensive background in cleantech and climate change, having played an important role in defining the National Solar Mission policy for India. Prior to SunEdison, Rahul Sankhe was a Senior Engagement Manager with McKinsey & Company Mumbai, where he advised leading Indian Corporates on strategy and operations and led the climate change practice for India. He also has semiconductor industry experience, having worked in semiconductor R&D in silicon valley for several years, where he worked on next-generation process technologies for LSI Logic
Corporation.
