IB Student
Her oratorical and debating journey started with TEDx New York when she gave a speech on the history of women’s political and legal rights. It was a pivotal moment for her as she has been a fervent orator and debater since then. It led the path for her to become the debater in her mainstream Singapore schools, participating in a myriad of competitions such as the Asian Debating Championships and others. Most recently, as the GIIS Debate President, she established multiple training sessions and competitions during 2020-21, uplifting the GIIS students’ debate and oratorical skills and creating a succession pipeline for future speakers representing the school. Graduating from highschool as a TEDx speaker once again is a symbolic bookend to my oratorical experience as she steps into university soon. She is honored and highly excited to share her ideas relating to the theme of ‘Fabric of Being’ with her audience.”Justin Boyd
