Theme: Full Control

This year’s TEDxyouth@TheNile theme includes a much broader spectrum inviting you to think of ‘Full Control’ as an opportunity to avoid unwanted outcomes, increase desired ones, push through obstacles, unleash potential and achieve your goals. This year’s talks are an enlightenment from the youth to the youth on how ‘it's never too late’ to take full control!

Aly Osman is a 28 year old CEO of the Influencers Social Media and PR Agency and the CEO of StarAD Events Agency. He’s a social media consultant and a motivational speaker. He’s also the founder of the hilariously known account @egyfunnysociety.

Amena Ayman

Digital Creator

Amena Kamel is a 17 year old girl who has a lot to say about being different. Amena doesn’t let her differences stop her from succeeding and moving forward. She has a passion for digital creation and is currently creating cartoons! She also wrote a book starting at the age of 13 and published it 2 years later.

Haydy Morsy

Pentathlete and Fencer

Haydy Morsy is a pentathlete and fencer and is currently majoring in communication and media arts at the American University of Cairo. She is a professional athlete who is a three times Olympian, two times African champion, and won two times best athlete award from the Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi.

Mariam Elsarraj

Designer / Artist

Mariam AlSarraj is a Hayah Alumni, who has gone through a journey full of obstacles, dead ends, and stumbling blocks which bring everyone down. But she still had the power and will to face these obstacles and prove everyone wrong. Mariam started her design instagram account,@througherstills in 2020, and has gained over 10K followers since!

Mohamed Hatab

Founder/CEO of Hand in Hand Charity NGO

Mohamed Hatab is the founder and CEO of the charitable organization @handinhand_ngo, an NGO aiming to enhance the lives of amputees. Mohamed will be joining us at this year’s event to talk about how things will always work out for the best regardless of the hardships and difficult times that one might experience.

Mohsen El Shafei

Student

Mohsen El Shafei is a junior at Hayah International Academy who has been through a journey full of many ups and downs. Mohsen will be talking about the power of the brain, and how it can create unwanted misconceptions that can lead to both physical and emotional pain. He will tell us about his experience of how a change in the mindset can lead to a change in behavior, emotions, and attitude.

Nala Kamel

Presenter/MC/Content Creator

Nala Kamel, @nala.says, a passionate Presenter, Interviewer and MC who started her own digital show PURPLE TALKS in November 2019 will be joining us this year. Nala took part in internationally well-known events such as RiseUp Summit, El Gouna Film Festival, and Cairo Film Festival.

Noor El Gendy is a 17 year old senior at Hayah International Academy, who’s joining this years event to talk about full control from a completely unique perspective as a professional swimmer, a student and a teen. Noor is an athlete swimmer who’s on the road to the Olympics.

Omar El Dafrawy is a 26 year old professional fighter and entrepreneur who has taken a very long and hectic journey to be where he wants to be today. Omar is the founder of a life & physical changing entity BarBrothers Egypt.

Omar El-Feky is a 17 year old senior at Hayah who will take us on a trip to Dahab where he uncovers the truth behind the stages of finding a purposeful life.
