Darren Hood has been involved in user experience design operations for over 20 years. He has been working as a full-time UX professional for 16+ years. He has previously worked for the Fortune 50 and for some of the largest digital design agencies in the world. He currently serves as an adjunct professor for Kent State University's UX Design Master's program and Lawrence Technological University. He is also the host for The World of UX podcast on CX of M radio via Michigan State University and was elected to serve as the Director of Education for UXPA International.
Dr. Rishi Raj
Associate Professor - IIT Patna
Dr. Rishi Raj is an Associate Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Patna. Prior to this, he was a Postdoctoral Associate at the Device Research Laboratory in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). With five patents and more than 50 research papers published, Dr Rishi has made significant contributions to the fields of Energy, Boiling Condensation, Micro-/Nano-Scale Thermal and Fluidic Transport, Colloids and Interface Science, and Microgravity Science. He has also been a recipient of the Medal for Young Scientist which is awarded by the Indian National Science Academy, and a recipient of INAE Young Engineer Award.
Rahul Aggarwal
Founder at Mission Oxygen, Co-Founder - Designhill
Rahul Aggarwal is an entrepreneur, investor and marketer who in 2014 co-founded one of the largest creative marketplaces, Designhill, which has over 125,000 artists and designers from all over the world. He along with a community of entrepreneurs and founders from Delhi-NCR started Mission Oxygen – an initiative that helped with the oxygen crisis in India during the second wave of Covid19. Mission oxygen has donated over 5200 oxygen concentrators to over 375 hospitals across 26 states in India and is setting up 30+ oxygen plants, crowdsourcing more than 50 crore rupees from 38000+ people all around the world.
Rupesh Mahore
Researcher, Innovator
Currently working as a remote research intern at Harvard University, Rupesh is deeply interested in physics. While interning at ISRO, he worked on a project which was actually used in the Chandrayan-2 and has also worked with Padma Shri Prof. H.C.Verma. This brilliant personality is the mind behind OxyServe, a monitoring device that could potentially save the lives of covid 19 patients. He has co-founded Spacegradeinc, a space tech startup.
Vivek Ram
Senapati at Vaanarsena Studios
Vivek Ram, also known as The Senapati of Vaanarsena Studios, has had a career span of 20 years as a CG and VFX Artist. He is responsible for building high-quality character and environment models as modelling technical director for international feature
films like Superman Returns, Fast and the Furious - Tokyo Drift, Night at the Museum, The Incredible Hulk and many more. His incredible interest in ancient Indian stories led him to his new venture, Vaanarsena Studios. He believes that Indian mythology is very open to interpretation and his artwork has been successful in giving new dimensions to the stories that we have been hearing
for ages.
Swimmer, Olympian
She is an Olympic swimmer and is the youngest ever Goodwill Ambassador for UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency. A Syrian refugee herself, she advocates for refugees globally and has become a powerful voice for the forcibly displaced across the world and is an example of their resilience and determination to rebuild lives and positively contribute to host communities. Yusra’s incredible story is told in her memoir ‘Butterfly: From Refugee to Olympian - My Story of Rescue, Hope and Triumph’ which is currently being adapted into a film.
Aircraft Pilot, UN Spokesperson
She became the youngest female pilot to fly a Boeing 777 in 2013. Captain Zoya turned a page in Indian aviation history when,in a first, she commanded an all-female cockpit crew that went over the North Pole from San Francisco to Bengaluru on the world's longest non-stop commercial trip.In addition to being appointed as the spokesperson of Generation Equality by the UN this year, Captain Zoya is a TEDx Speaker who encourages aspiring youngsters and hopes to inspire young girls to dream big.
