Embracing the synergy offered by the missions of TED and Virginia Tech, the theme for the first TEDxVirginiaTech is intentionally broad. It is "Knowing." Given that theme, it is imaginable that presentations might answer a broad range of questions regarding knowing, including
-How do we represent knowledge and knowing?
-How do we share knowledge; how do we teach?
-What have we discovered?
-How do we challenge knowledge?
-What have we created/invented?
-How did we come to know a topic or subject?
-What ideas do we have that everyone should know?
These questions and more are among those that will be addressed by the speakers at TEDxVirginiaTech.
