Kofi Bazzell-Smith

Artist, Boxer, Educator, US -apan Bridging Scholar, Gilman Scholar
Kofi Bazzell-Smith is an artist, educator, and professional boxer. A US-Japan Bridging Scholar, Kofi speaks Japanese and has traveled to Japan twice to study manga (Japanese comics). He endeavors to build cultural bridges and inspire people through his multiple pursuits.

Swayne Martin

First Office for Envoy air on the Embraer 145; Youtuber
Swayne is a First Officer for Envoy Air on the Embraer 145 and an advocate for future pilots. With over 198,000 subscribers and 21 million views, his YouTube channel is a go-to source for aspiring professional pilots learning about the career path. His aviation career started at 15 years old with his first flight lessons in Richmond, Virginia. Shortly after, Swayne began documenting his flight training through a series of videos on YouTube. Around the same time, he started writing for Boldmethod Pilot Training, where he's now a co-owner and editor. Swayne attended the University of North Dakota and built his first professional flight experience by flying inter-island for Hawaiian carrier Mokulele Airlines. Today, Swayne's videos cover specific career topics to make the transition into airline training easier for new pilots. The resource he’s created is the first example of an airline-approved comprehensive view on becoming an airline pilot.
