Debbie Aung Din
Debbie Aung Din Taylor is Co-Founder of Proximity Designs, a social enterprise operating in Myanmar since 2004. Debbie served on several UNDP and World Bank missions to Myanmar between 1995 to 2003, to evaluate development programs and assess rural economic conditions. Prior to that, she lived in post-war Cambodia for four years working on national development issues. She lived in Indonesia for seven years, first working with the Harvard Institute for International Development and later as a consultant with USAID. Debbie received her Masters degree from Harvard University where she studied development economics and public policy.
Andres Sevtsuk
Andres Sevtsuk leads the City Form Lab at SUTD, which investigates how social, economic and environmental forces shape cities, and how the forms of cities, in turn, affect the quality of life in cities. He is also the founding principal of City Form Office, and architecture and planning practice. Before joining SUTD in 2011, Andres taught as a lecturer in Architecture and Urban Studies & Planning at MIT. He studied at L'École d'Architecture de la Ville & des Territoires (BArch) and MIT (SMArchS, PhD) and has worked as an architect, urban designer, consultant and researcher in Estonia, France and the United States. He has published a number of articles and book chapters on urban design, urban technology, and spatial analysis. He is currently based in Singapore.
Arnfinn Oines
Arnfinn is overlooking the responsible business practices at Soneva resorts, which have received numerous environmental awards. He oversees the operational resorts and supports the new projects are being developed in line with the company value known as SLOW LIFE (Sustainable-Local-Organic-Wellness Learning-Inspiring-Fun- Experiences). Arnfinn joined Soneva in 2005 and has been involved in implementing and establishing the Soneva Carbon Calculator, Soneva Clean Water Projects, Forest Restoration Project, Darfur Stoves Project, The Soneva SLOW LIFE Trust, The Soneva Sustainable Future Symposium and the groups Social & Environmental PnPs. Arnfinn co-founded and opened Earthwalkers Hotel in Cambodia as General Manager. He also worked as Course Director for International Tourism Institute in Spain. He holds an MBA in Hospitality & Tourism.
