Theme: Future Weavers

𝐓𝐄𝐃𝐱𝐇𝐀𝐍𝐔 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟏: 𝐅𝐔𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄 𝐖𝐄𝐀𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐒

To start the series of events this year, with the ideal "Ideas worth spreading" of TED, 𝐓𝐄𝐃𝐱𝐇𝐀𝐍𝐔 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟏 would like to introduce the theme: 𝐅𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐖𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬.

If the future is a never-ending "fabric", then the individuals sewing it is none other than ourselves. Every citizen in this society, regardless of position or occupation, is invisibly weaving a tapestry called "the future". The "future" will become an unending fabric when each thread is sewn together, and the person who uses that cloth to sew the coat on is us.

Coming to 𝐅𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐖𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬, our 𝐓𝐄𝐃𝐱𝐇𝐀𝐍𝐔 team will join you in weaving a fabric that provides you the best timeless value, in addition to focusing on exploiting the old yet new features of "Human", as well as the desire to promote the spirit of "Connection". Furthermore, the workshop will attract more students from all across Hanoi, with Fresh Perspectives, full of Excitement as well as Humanities. Hai Anh Nguyen

Graduating from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Hanoi National University with a bachelor's degree in Psychology, Ms. Nguyen Hai Anh currently has 5 years of experience working in this field. Our talented speaker is currently: - Psychologist at MindCare Vietnam. - Psychologist at the Vietnam Institute of Psychological Intervention and Training - VPIT. - Speaker at seminars related to the topic of sexual health, reproductive health for students.

Lucas Luan Nguyen

Mr. Lucas, who describes himself as someone who "lives with words," is an expert in the film industry who is working as a film translator, film critic, and film marketer. Besides, he is also known to many people as a Film Influencer. Despite being at a very young age, he has had many remarkable achievements in his career such as: - Lecturer in film criticism at the University of Economics and Finance - Reporter/critic at the International Film Festival Rotterdam 2018 - Film critic at Vietcetera - In charge of English subtitles for the movie Sky Tour (2020) by Son Tung M-TP - Marketing content creator for films such as The Third Wife (2019), Rom (2020), Blood Moon Party (2020), Raya and The Last Dragon (2021) - Participated in writing Vietnamese lyrics for the soundtracks of The Lion King (2019), Encanto - Miracle Land (2021), as well as being in charge of Vietnamese dubbing for many big movies of Disney, Netflix, Paramount...

Thanh Hoang Minh

Formerly a graduate student in Business Administration from Hanoi University, co-founder of the Effective Leadership Development Club DEL HANU, Mr. Hoang Minh Thanh continuously achieved multiple outstanding achievements throughout the years, with rich working experience in AI field including: - 8 years of start-up experience in e-commerce, media and advertising technology using artificial intelligence. - Senior manager at European technology companies on artificial intelligence such as RTB House and Insider Vietnam. - Founding and growing startups like Kratus Agency, Fresh Deli and Tailor Bros. - Co-founder/Former CEO of Vietnam AI Solutions (VAIS) develops voice-to-text technology. In 2019, VAIS won the first prize of Vietnamese Talents in the IT category. - Co-Founder/CEO of CypherAI Co. the data platform for AI.

Thu Hong Khuat

Dr Khuat Thu Hong is the founder and Director of the Institute for Social Development Studies (ISDS), an independent research organization located in Hanoi, Vietnam. She has a B.A. in psychology in 1984 and a Ph.D. in sociology in 1997. Before founding ISDS, she worked for the Institute of Sociology, Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences for sixteen years and for UNDP as the gender specialist from March 2000 to May 2001. Her major fields of studies include gender, sexuality and social inclusion. Dr. Khuat Thu Hong is a regular guest of national and international television and radio such as VTV, VOV, BBC, NHK, VOA and RFA and is frequently interviewed by national and international newspapers on gender and social issues in Vietnam.

Tri Hieu Nguyen

He is currently an undergraduate in Hospitality - University of Nevada, Las Vegas (ranked #2 globally in training Hospitality); Trí Hiếu profoundly understands the importance and value of Service in every life aspect. Hence, in addition to university lectures and professional work, Hieu always practices the value of Wholehearted Service through activities: blood donation, cycling for a sustainable environment, green living, part-time vegetarianism, mentoring and training for youth projects and camps (Hanoi Speakers Toastmasters, YSEALI; AIESEC; HiLL; THE; Think On etc.), and fundraising for birthday in social organisations. Furthermore, Hiếu has won a Gold Award from the prestigious Duke of Edinburgh International Award, written diverse and memorable internship experiences in the Service industry at Triip.me; InterContinental; Hyatt; Amatara, John Paul; Christina's; Knowmads; The Learning Hub; Real Christmas Trees Melbourne.

Tung Le Thanh

Mr Le Thanh Tung - a typical Visual Artist, also known by the stage name Tung Monkey - Crazy Monkey. He is a pioneer in applying technology to art, his unique installations and visual performances have been displayed at famous exhibitions around the world, such as: - Exhibition at South Wind Rises Contemporary Exhibition - Taiwan (2018) - Exhibition at London Design Biennale - United Kingdom (2011) - Exhibition at Cannes Young Lions - France (2011) Art - a great legacy of mankind, an invisible element that binds people together will be an interesting topic in 𝐓𝐄𝐃𝐱𝐇𝐀𝐍𝐔’s Main Event. Mr Tung Monkey’s upcoming talk promises to deliver a unique presentation on the digital art journey - specifically "Metaverse" and archiving art via NFT encryption.

Y Yen Phan

With a pseudonym meaning "Peace of mind", a metaphor for a woman's destination is peace, our speaker Phan Y Yen has made extremely proud achievements throughout many years working as a writer: - Graduated Bachelor of Law - Marketing in France. - A series of best-selling works written for young people, especially their loneliness and their hearts when in love, including "Hay noi yeu thoi dung noi yeu mai mai", "Em la de yeu", "Nguoi lon co don" and "Ca phe voi nguoi la".
