Dare to Dream - Unearth the Future! The annual meeting of TEDxChaterRoad will be on the evening of 31 March 2022, presenting the captivating theme about “Unearthed”.

Unearthed, is not only about discovering the past. But, developing a pioneering insight for the future with a 3-step approach - To Glimpse the Past, Uncover the Patterns and Look Back to See Forward.

Remarks: Due to the prevailing COVID-19 situation, the entire event will be held virtually this year.

Aljon Rae

Aljon Rae Grospe is a Hong Kong-Filipino. Coming up through the school system as an ethnic minority, he faced challenges such as integrating to the larger society. Playing rugby was the key that opened doors for him to interact with ethnic Chinese Hong Kongers. This enabled him to absorb the local culture and brush up his Cantonese. Nowadays, he radiates his passion for integration and inclusion by leading a team of rugby-playing domestic helpers with a mission to break barriers and build a more inclusive city. Apart from rugby initiative that he leads, Aljon is also on the Fundraising Committee of the Resolve Foundation, an NGO focused on creating a more inclusive Hong Kong. He also volunteers with NGOs such as Dear Hong Kong and Love 21 Foundation blending his passion for photography and sports with social good.

Andrew Kwan

Founder and CEO of Delight Labs

Andrew Kwan is Founder and CEO of Delight Labs, a voice assistant software company building voice interfaces for the Metaverse. Delight’s customers and partners include Singapore Tourism Board, Jewel Changi Airport, Resorts World Sentosa and Singapore Flyer. Previously, Andrew founded Outwhiz, an education technology company empowering millions of student engagements in Math and English lessons. Andrew received his BA in Economics from Harvard, MS in Computer Science and MS in Management Science & Engineering from Stanford. He is a graduate of Phillips Exeter Academy.
