In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Gabrielle Vecciarelli, a sophomore at Chatham High School, has loved theater for as long as she can remember. She also enjoys piano, reading, and art. She was excited to share her talk on the impact of theatre during the Covid-19 pandemic at the 2021 TEDxYouth@Chatham event.

Sarah Meyler is a hardworking student and a dedicated athlete. She helps out her community by being apart of her towns Emergency squad. Sarah loves listening to other people’s views and opinions of the world and always takes opportunities to broaden her knowledge.

Sebastian “Sam” Cotter

Sebastian “Sam” Cotter is a graduating senior at Chatham High School/incoming freshman at Hofstra University. In the future he hopes to be a film maker who makes films that inspires future generations.
