In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Brooklyn Johnson

At the time this talk was given, Brooklyn Johnson was an 8th grader at Eastern Greene Middle School. In her talk, she wanted to help people understand what holoprosencephaly is.

Kelton O'Connell

Kelton is a filmmaker, violinist, and tennis player. He loves making videos and practicing his visual storytelling.

Molly Bui

At the time this speech was delivered, Molly was a student at Bloomington High School South.

Sam Mitchell

Sam is a graduate of Eastern Greene High School and is college bound. He was diagnosed with autism when he was 4 years old. Even though, he has had trials and tribulations, Sam is very successful. He runs his own podcast called Autism Rocks and Rolls encouraging those around him to embrace autism as an ability and to his mission is to take the negative stigma off of autism.
