As we know, mastery defines the space for professionalism and expertise.

TEDxIkenegbu is maintaining the tempo by assembling speakers whose work have over the past years manifested high level of competence in their different skills.

The list of speakers will include; Tonto Dike, Adaora Onyechere, Timothy Benedict, Maria Glover, Ugochukwu Umeogu, Nicole Njoku, Eketi Edima - all representing mostly private practice, religion, and charity.

In Mundus Uwakwe’s words- Mastery for us would mean one sentence, “we want to create more spaces where the best will listen to the best, and that is why TEDxIkenegbu has started to act on these thematic structures by exploring the best options in form of speakers.”

Adaora Onyechere

Head Women affairs and Gender African Union Ecosocc Nigeria

Adaora Onyechere is a Nigerian Broadcast Journalist extraordinaire' an Enigmatic, mind gripping On AIR Personality formerly with African Independent Television AIT. Her intellectual Foray on Kaakaki The African Voice added that deep, intuitive edge that wasn't existent afore. She was also the Producer and Presenter of AIT's Gender Agenda Africa's Number 1 Premium program detailing the issues from across Africa on Gender on AIT. She ran for Imo State House of Assembly in Nigeria in 2019, She lost yet further went on to serve in the capacity of senior special adviser on information and advocacy to the Former Governor of Imo State His Excellency Rt. Hon Emeka lhedioha and also the technical adviser to the deputy chief whip Rt. Hon Nkeiruka Onyejeocha representing Umuneochi/Isukwato In Abia State.

Eketi Edima Ette

Storyteller and Writing Coach

Eketi Edima Ette is a gifted storyteller, writing coach, and sole author of two books: Chinda Ella and May My Village People Not Disgrace Me. She has also co-authored Beyond the Corner and I Wish I Knew This Before I Was Fourteen. Listed as one of the 100 Most Influential Nigerian Writers under 40, this Creative Director of Kedima Consulting is a content creator who has worked with several local and international brands. When she's not sleeping or volunteering with non-profits, Eketi loves to travel, read compulsively, sniff new books, watch movies and admire red sunsets.

King Tonto Dikeh

Nigerian actress and Humanitarian

King Tonto Charity Dikeh is a Nigerian actress and humanitarian. On 27 August 2000, Tonto Dikeh set up her foundation, the Tonto Dikeh Foundation. The Foundation was established with a clear vision and passion of making life better for all displaced and under privilege women, girls, youth, and children in Africa, in-respective of their Politically, Religious and Cultural differences. It also aims at organizing regular sensitization programs and symposium discussion that will bring sanity and civility to the black race; by taking issues that affect women, gender issues, rape, empowerment, climate change and child right.

Maria Glover

Projects Lead, Impact Investors’ Foundation

Maria is the Projects Lead for The Impact Investors Foundation, a non-profit organisation founded in partnership with The Ford Foundation, Africa Capital Alliance, BusinessDay Media Limited, Bank of Industry and Dalberg Advisors. She was previously the pioneer Executive Secretary of The Knowledge Exchange Centre (KEC), a non-profit organization focused on bridging the skills gap for young unemployed graduates. While at KEC, Ms Glover was responsible for translating and implementing the five-year vision and strategic plan of the organization. She has worked on several youth development programs with the government and has a wide range of experience in banking, research, monitoring and evaluation, project management, strategy, and planning.

Nicole Njoku

HR Professional and Social Impact Leader

Nicole Njoku is a Human Resources Consultant and the Managing Director at Melan Consults & Projects Limited and Zikanoc Care. She is a social impact leader and the Founder of SOW Africa, a globally accredited Non-profit that caters to underserved communities in Africa. She also serves as one of the Board of Directors at Zikanoc Care Foundation. In 2019, she spearheaded the Lesson After School Program for children in underserved public schools and in 2020, the Shine Project- a mentorship program for young girls in Secondary schools. She is a first-class graduate of Political Science and International Relations from Valdosta State University, Georgia USA and holds her Master’s degree in Public Administration from Robert F. Wagner School of Public Service, New York University and has bagged other degrees in Hospitality Management and Human Resources Management from Florida Atlantic University.

Timothy Benedict

Head Pastor Divine Ambassadors Christian Assembly (DACA)

Timothy was an astute businessman who was deeply involved in the retail and food distribution business in Nigeria before his foray into full-time ministry. Pastor Tim got his academic training at Rufus Giwa Polytechnic (formerly Ondo State Polytechnic, Owo). He went further to train for his pastoral ministry at Word of Faith Bible Institute (WOFBI) and the Dunamis School of Ministry (DUSOM). He is also an Alumnus of the prestigious Daystar Leadership Academy, Lagos and the Pointman Leadership Institute, USA amongst others. Pastor Tim was the head of media and publicity, Dunamis worldwide and the pioneer pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Enugu where he served faithfully for almost eight years before he was meritoriously released on the 15th of September 2019 by Dr Pastor Paul Enenche to Owerri to start a new work now known as Divine Ambassadors Christian Assembly (DACA) worldwide, one of the fastest-growing churches in South East Nigeria.

Ugochukwu Omeogu is a Workplace Attitude and Peak Performance Expert, a Business Mentor and Investment Specialist, a Career and life Coach. He is the Principal Consultant and the Prime Facilitator of Joseph Consulting and Mentoring Limited; a Career Coaching/Development and Strategic Management Consulting Company.
