Alan Raskin
Alan Raskin is a junior at Pittsford Sutherland High School, an advocate of social justice, and above all, a member of "Gen Z" who watched how fellow teens took activism to new platforms in recent years. Heavily involved with Best Buddies, an organization focused on creating inclusion for people with and without disabilities, and his school's GSA, he is no stranger to activism and making a change in an adult-dominated society. As he manages AP classes, extracurriculars like Model UN, coxing varsity for Pittsford Crew, and even cashiering at Wegmans, he sees how today's social change is increasingly coming from himself and his peers. As more teens use their involvements and Instagram accounts for advocacy, he has been taking note of the societal shifts surrounding it and is very excited to share his own experiences as a teen within this new age of activism.
