In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Di-Ann Eisnor

Co-founder of Neighborhood Start Fund
Di-Ann Eisnor is an entrepreneur and investor currently building a construction labor marketplace and advocating for the 180MM construction workers around the world.

Emily Wong

Stanford Undergraduate
Emily Wong is a student at Stanford studying Mechanical Engineering and Modern Languages. She researches Artificial Intelligence because of its applications in the environmental field and has used AI in her research studying the direct conversion of methane to methanol through photocatalysis and remote tracking of penguins. At the event, she will go over why AI is important and relevant today and some interesting applications of artificial intelligence in bordering.

Partha Krishna

High School Student
Partha is a student at Palo Alto High School. He enjoys folding origami, specifically the more geometric and pattern-based pieces. He also designs and folds his own original tessellations, which are origami pieces generally consisting of a repeated pattern. Some of his original tessellations have been featured in International Math Art Galleries. He also enjoys teaching origami and has done it on multiple occasions.
