Theme: ACCELERATE (Virtual)

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Oluwabusola Oni

Entrepreneurial Leadership Expert

Oluwabusola is an enabler who is passionate about deploying innovation and design thinking as problem-solving tools to harness economic potential of individuals and companies. She places a lot of emphasis on the need to start from an empathy standpoint in solving grand challenges and has experience interfacing with startups, education stakeholders. She works with the Entrepreneurial Leadership team to develop and coach students towards becoming ethical and entrepreneurial leaders at the African Leadership Academy (ALA). In 2016, Oluwabusola founded Steering for Greatness Foundation, an education social enterprise that seeks to bridge the gap in education in Nigeria. As part of her efforts, she designed innovative leadership and entrepreneurship camps for teenagers and organised experiential learning workshops for teachers. Prior to this, she worked as a Tax Consultant with Deloitte Nigeria where she focused on tax advisory and management for clients in the financial services sector.
