In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Bryanna Laws

Hi everyone, my name is Bryanna Laws and I am a 2019 Avon Grove graduate. I currently attend Temple University as a Nursing major with a Public Health minor. I have always had a passion for helping people, due to my empathetic and compassionate nature. I currently work part-time at Giant Food Stores and at Jennersville Hospital. In my free time, I like to work out, listen to music and podcasts, and cook. This past year in isolation and uncertainty has allowed me to dig deeper and find myself as the young adult I am becoming every day. Mary Roberts

Student

Mary Roberts is a senior at Avon Grove High School, and she will be attending the University of Miami next fall, pursuing a double major in biology and psychology. She has been on the school’s varsity cheer team for three years and is also involved in the ENACT(environmental action) club. Mary has been playing viola with Avon Grove’s string orchestra for eight years and likes to read in her free time. Mary is passionate about climate change and mental health awareness. She hopes to attend medical school or veterinary school after college.

Morgan Levy is a current senior at Avon Grove High School. This is her second official TEDx talk. Morgan is the Vice-President of the senior class, involved with student council, and is an avid fundraiser for the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation.
