Aisha Aminu Gidado

Aisha Aminu Gidado is a poet and literary enthusiast committed to inspiring a new generation of change-makers. She's a graduating student of Microbiology at Usmanu Danfodio University, Sokoto, Nigeria. Her love of literature and art inspires her writing and performances.She has written over 70 poems and a novel, which she looks forward to publishing soon. She's a chef par excellence and the CEO of Twixo Treats NIG, a catering company based in Nigeria.

Ameenah Muhammad

Ameenah Muhammad is an advocate of Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) and the prevention of Gender-based violence (GBV). She is a TV host and a radio presenter where she speaks on the rights of women, girls, and children. She’s a trained facilitator, a human rights change maker, a peace ambassador for Equal Access International, and a content creator with a handful of published articles. She is also a youth social media advocate for the United Nations Population Fund.

Hussein Abdulbasit

Hussein Abdulbasit is a performance poet and a broadcaster who grew up on the streets of Kankatu, Ilorin, Nigeria. His poetry is centred on histo-political issues and answers to the question of national identity. He has performed a handful of poems at numerous events. He performed at the civic reception of the appointment of Prof Emeritus T.M Bande as the 74th president of the United Nations Organization and the University of Ilorin's Poetry Unlimited Version 2.0, where he was rated among the top 10 performers. He is the Convener PiamVoices; a Poetry Organization promoting Art in Kwara State. Abdulbasit was recently named the Slam Sultan after winning the first-ever poetry slam at the Sokoto Book and Arts Festival, Sokoto, Nigeria.

Kulu Haruna Abubakar

Dr. Kulu Haruna Abubakar is passionate about women development, youth engagement, and children empowerment. As a nation builder, the core of her commitment is transforming communities with the use of technology and innovating every sector of Nigerian society. Currently, she serves as the Honourable Commissioner for Science and Technology, Sokoto State, Nigeria.

Sulaiman Usman

Hon. Sulaiman Usman, Esq. is a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), a Legal Practitioner, and Notary Public. He is passionate about Justice, Youth Development and Nation Building. He was educated at Usman Danfodio University, Sokoto and the University of Liverpool, England where he obtained a Master of Laws Degree (LL.M) in International Business Law. He has been in active legal practise for over 17 years, which traverses both private and public legal service, and has conducted cases in all the levels of Nigerian courts. He has written many books and publications on justice and law in Nigeria. Hon. Sulaiman Usman Esq., SAN currently serves as the Attorney General and the Honourable Commissioner for Justice, Sokoto State, Nigeria.

Umar Kabir Dan-Anini

Umar Kabir Dan-Anini is a digital skills educator with a mission to train children in Hausa communities in Northern Nigeria. He seeks to equip young people for the future and prepare them to be productive members of the society through the acquisition of digital skills. He is a Google IT Trainer and the founder of Dan Anini Digital Solutions; where he provides innovative solutions to digital problems. He is the Head of Unit Software & System Solutions at the Sokoto State ICT Directorate, Sokoto, Nigeria. In 2020, he received the, 'Tech young Achiever of the Year' award.
