Alexandra Lee

Alexandra Lee is a sophomore at International High School. She is interested in fencing and creative writing, as well as the study of psychology. This is her first year participating in a TEDx event and applied in hopes of sharing her passions and interests on a grander scale. Her TEDx interest was sparked while watching inspirational TED talks featuring young, innovative speakers. She is excited to voice her opinion and support others in the future.
Annabelle Conti

Annabelle is a junior at International High School in San Francisco and is pursuing the International Baccalaureate program. Ever since living on a boat when she was 3 years old, she's had a passion for marine environments and conservation. She's always been keen to find her place among fellow marine enthusiasts, from working with Save the Med in Majorca, to speaking with Sylvia Earle and Liz Taylor. Getting her scuba diving certification in Monterey at the age of 12 further facilitated and encouraged her passion, which has been growing since.

Caspar Schilling is a Junior at International High School in San Francisco, California. He is currently a student pursuing the International Baccalaureate. Caspar is an actor, a big soccer fan and is passionate about finance. He is a member of the Investments Club at International, the co-founder of the Youths Take Action Club and a member of the Student Council.

Grant Garland is currently a junior at International High School. Grant is passionate about international relations and foreign policy and hopes to one day become an ambassador. He is the Vice President of IHS’s MUN and President of Youths Take Action. In his free time he likes to surf the cold waters of Ocean Beach and read.
Luca Bana-Vax

Luca Bana-Vax is a senior at International High School, engaged in the International option of the French Baccalaureate. The new science of psychedelics was first brought to his attention by Michael Pollan’s How to Change your Mind, and since then he has undertaken an extended research project on the subject, gathering data in an attempt to present it in a digestible and straightforward format. As his knowledge of psychedelics continues to grow, its relevance for the problems his generation faces become clear; psychedelics have shown wondrous results when used to treat depression, anxiety or PTSD.
