In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Dhiraj Singh

Dhiraj Singh, is a business leader who has held various senior positions in his career. After completing his Mechanical Engineering from IIT Mumbai and MBA & MIM from Tulane and Thunderbird respectively in USA, he worked with companies like Eicher, Laitram, Tata Steel and Bechtel. He then headed Business Development for Bovis Lend Lease and was the Country Head for Laing O’Rourke, before he founded vKarma Capital (a PE fund of DLF), and became Senior Advisor with McKinsey and Simplex Infrastructures. He also loves writing and has authored five books.

Harish Iyer

Harish Iyer is an Indian equal rights activist. Iyer is also a motivational speaker and the Founder of The Jimme Foundation, an organisation that works at ensuring a life free of prejudice and abuse for everybody.

Jaspal Godara

Jaspal is an engineer by heart. He started teaching unprivileged children in his college days and then founded a NGO Prayaas Corps. He is a teacher and a social entreprenuer . He likes reading biographies of revolutionaries and thinkers.

Sahithi Divi

Hyderabad-based, 29-year-old Sahithi Divi presents her story of social impact. She is the founder of Impact Scientist, a rural innovator and an empowerment influencer. Sahithi has a Master’s in Social Entrepreneurship and started Impact Scientist in 2019 to empower women of rural India through storytelling. She features in the list of Forbes India 30 under 30 to watch out for this year. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
