In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

After completing his studies at the Istituto Alberghiero, he got to know Massimo Spigaroli's working reality, an experience that led him to develop a strong passion for pastry.

Giorgia Spigno

Giorgia Spigno is Associate Professor in food science and technology at the DiSTAS – Department for Sustainable Food Process of the Faculty of Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences of the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore. She holds a MSc degree in Food Science and Technology (1999, UCSC) and a PhD in Chemical and Process Engineering (2003, Università degli Studi di Genova, Italy).

Tito Caffi

Professor Caffi graduated in Agricultural Science and Technology in 2003 at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart and obtained the title of PhD with Doctor Europaeus label at the AgriSystem Doctoral School with the thesis "Epidemiology and modelling of grapevine downy mildew primary infections caused by Plasmopara viticola (Berk et Curt.) Berlese et de Toni ". Since 2003 he has attended the Institute of Entomology and Plant Pathology, with project contracts, scholarships, research grants and then as a PhD student and Post Doctorate Fellow. Since 2015 he is Researcher (lg. 240/10) at DIPROVES, Sustainable Crop Protection area.
