In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Anmol Malik is an Indian author, singer and songwriter, who works in the Indian film industry. In 2020, she made her debut as an author with the book ‘Three Impossible Wishes’, published by HarperCollins. Under her pen name, she has written several pieces of micro-fiction for Terribly Tiny Tales. Ms. Malik’s work has also made it to the Amazon Best Reads list. Ms. Malik began her singing career by lending her voice for the movie Biwi No.1. She recorded her first vocal track at the age of five. She launched her first English single "Let Me Come Home" in 2017. Ms. Maliks’s discography has been very diverse and many of her songs have been at the top of the music charts. She was also the Head of the Script Department at Yash Raj Films, and worked on films such as Mardaani and Dum Laga Ke Haisha.

Captain Zoya Agarwal

Captain Zoya Agarwal, an Air India Pilot, is breaking glass ceilings through her path-breaking achievements. She became the youngest woman pilot in India to fly the mighty Boeing-777 aircraft in 2013. On 9th January 2021, she scripted history by commanding the all-women crew on a flight that flew over the North Pole on the world's longest air route from San Francisco to Bengaluru. Captain Zoya also led the Government of India’s Vande Bharat Mission in the wake of the COVID-19 outbreak that brought back over 14,000 Indians who were stranded abroad. In 2015, she was applauded for her role in saving a passenger's life. Through her narrative, the next thing on her bucket list is to motivate millions of girls in the country to fulfil their dreams and never think of them as “too big” or “impossible’.

Dr. Darlie Koshy

Design & Fashion Wizard | CEO - Apparel Training and Design Centre

Dr. Darlie Koshy, author of the "Indian Design Edge'' and two major books, is the Director General and CEO of Apparel Training and Design Centre (ATDC) & IAM. He has been named twice among the 50 Leaders shaping Indian Higher Education and has mentored at NIFT, National Institute of Design (as Executive Director), Institute of Apparel Management (IAM) and so forth. Dr. Koshy is the only Indian to have served on the Executive Board of World Body of Design (ICSID) for 3 terms. He is credited with the formulation of National Design Policy and also the widely known campaign, “Designed in India, Made for the World”. He is trained in FIT Newtork as a founding faculty member of NIFT. Dr. Darlie Koshy has also served on the Advisory Board of Lakme Fashion Week.

Dr. Nanditha Krishna has a Ph.D. in Ancient Indian Culture from Bombay University, where she was also a Heras Scholar. In 1990, she was deputed to the Archaeological Survey of India’s restoration of Angkor Vat at Cambodia. She became the Chairperson for WWF India, Tamil Nadu. She has been a member of the Senate of the University of Madras, Central Zoo Authority, National Wildlife Board, NEC, Indian Council of Forestry Research & Education and the Committee for Environmental Orientation to School Education. She is the Chairman of C P Ramaswami Aiyar foundation and has won various awards, including the ‘Nari Shakti Puraskar’ from the Government of India for her contributions to the society.
