In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

She is the founder of The Pawsome People Project, which is an attempt in bringing people to lend support to the Indian Mongrel and showering some love or “paw” to them. She believes that the stray dogs in India have been neglected through years, making people realize their importance and how they are equally important as the high breed dogs termed by the society. Apart from being an ardent animal lover, she can be spotted spending time on the football field and a lover of Chelsea F.C.

Nitin Chordia is India’s first certified chocolate taster and the founder of Kocotrait, a bean to bar chocolate brand based in Chennai. Apart from that, his brand is also India’s first zero-waste, sustainable and plant friendly, sure he knows how to keep the environment happy and your taste buds too! Coming from a retail business background to this sophisticated job, would be a tale that we’re all dying to know about. He also owns an academy to teach the process of chocolate making, now that’s more interesting.

Gaming is a major part of many people’s lives, but have you ever wondered what happens behind the facet of a game? something that started as fun, ended up being a major part of her life. Poornima Seetharaman, a game designer from Bangalore is the first Indian woman to be enlisted in, “ Women in Games Hall of Fame”. She started her way into the world of games in Korea. Her major works include FarmVille, Bio-shock and many more. She is also an avid gamer and her dream project is to combine classical music with gaming. She aspires many young people of our nation to take up game designing as a serious profession.
