Mohab Abdou
Coach Mohab has graduated in 2010 from the Arab Academy for Science and Technology - Faculty of Electronics and Communication Engineering, but over the years he has become passionate about fitness and nutrition. He has experience working with world champion swimmers, preparing triathlon athletes, rehabilitation due to post-trauma or surgery & movement correction.
Mohab is now currently building an Automatic/AI smart system that he believes will help the fitness and the diet community greatly in addition to writing his first patent for a new dumbbell system design that is more efficient in the future.
Omar Hussam
Omar Hussam graduated from the Mechanical Design Engineering Department of Cairo University in 2020. Currently a freelancing mechanical engineer with hands-on experience in automotive, machine design, and biomedical prosthetics, and great interest in media marketing, Omar is looking to project his passion towards engineering which he believes is an art.
He spent 3 years in Cairo University Racing Team, starting from a member up to an Organizational development director of a 1M EGP project that builds racing cars. He travelled with the team and took part in Formula Student UK in the years 2018 and 2019. The team went on to win 6th place overall among Electric Vehicles and dominated the MENA region in 2019. Although the project halted in 2020, he contributed to the team's effort to winning both YLF and GENEVA inventions in 2021.
Omar believes that their story is worth sharing. He believes that the mindset he acquired during his competition seasons can be extended to everyday life.
Salam Darwish
Salam Darwish is Syrian in nationality, but she was born in India and raised all over the world. Currently, she is living in Egypt. Due to her international life experiences, Salam has gained unique insights into what it means to have a “common humanity.” She is highly drawn to psychology & philosophy, and she tries to integrate knowledge from these fields into both her personal life and her professional life.
Salam Darwish is a people-and-philosophy-oriented engineer. She completed a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering in 2017 at the University of Pretoria in South Africa, and she is currently in pursuit of a Master’s degree in Development and Management Engineering at the North-West University. In the future, Salam hopes to work in interdisciplinary environments, where she can integrate the humanities and engineering. She also has a passion for education and hopes to pursue a career in academia.
Samaa Hosny
Dr. Samaa Hosny, a lifelong educator, named after the Sky, who always strives to help students find their happiness and success through emotional, psychological, mental, spiritual, and physical balance.
She does so through her holistic view formed over 20 years of experience in teaching, training, coaching, career counseling, and academic advising for graduate studies abroad, where she focused mainly on the inside-out empowerment of humans through early career development and career shifting.
Dr. Samaa has a Ph.D. and MSc from Cairo University. Master’s degree in leadership and innovation from Harvard University, and currently is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Economics and Political Science, Cairo University, and the Founding Director of the Student Mentorship and Career Counseling at Cairo University, which she managed for three years and gave over 3000 hrs of counseling. She also worked as a world bank adviser in Washington and a researcher in the decision-making office in the Egyptian Ministers’ Council.
Dr. Samaa wrote several articles, both in the Arab and international region, and she has more than 20,000 followers on her Social Media account, where she documents success stories of her mentees.
Through her own healing and self-development journey, which lasted for over a decade, she took courses in psychosocial support, TOT, life coaching, holistic health techniques including Chinese Tai Chi and Qigong, psychology and CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), art therapy, music therapy, and many others.
