Alanda Kariza
Known for her impactful Indonesian Youth Conference and authorship of 11 books, Alanda Kariza is an Indonesian writer and social activist, whose at only 15 years old founded the non-profit organization The Cure For Tomorrow and became Indonesia's representative for Global Changemakers, in which she initiated the Indonesian Youth Conference, a pioneering movement and platform for Indonesian youth to express their aspirations. Passionate about improving decision-making, she established Advislab, a behavioral insights consulting and research firm offering services to change beneficiary behavior and affordable informal education in behavioral science, in which she also works as a principal consultant and researcher. With a master's degree in behavioral and economic science from the University of Warwick, Alanda currently focuses on utilizing storytelling and nudging to foster entrepreneurship. Candrian Attahiyyat, is an Indonesian archaeologist specializing in the historical relics of Jakarta. Despite being more than 60 years of age, he remains dedicated to exploring historical sites in Indonesia, particularly Jakarta. His career, initially as a civil servant in the Jakarta Provincial Government's Museum and History Office, spanned until his retirement. A Jakarta native and a cultural enthusiast, Chandrian's love for archaeology was inspired by his grandfather's tales of life during World War II, motivating his lifelong dedication to the field, where currently, he enriches public knowledge of Jakarta's history through videos on YouTube, showcasing his research and and most recent explorations. Ibnu Pratomo
Ibnu Pratomo, a passionate blacksmith and co-founder of Pijar Komunitas Menempa Indonesia, is dedicated to preserving the fading cultural values associated with forging. Born in Jakarta, Ibnu's journey into blacksmithing began during his high school years when he explored the art of forging. His commitment deepened during his master's program in Fine Arts at ITB, where he delved into researching and crafting traditional weapons like keris. In 2012, Ibnu, along with five colleagues, founded Pijar to create a community that educates and revives the art of blacksmithing, emphasizing the cultural and historical aspects of weaponry and also aimint to instill cultural pride in the younger generation. Beyond crafting traditional weapons like kujang and keris, Pijar now produces a range of men's accessories, marketed under the name Saltig, blending cultural motifs with contemporary designs. Ibnu's dedication has earned international recognition, with one of his creations becoming a gift for Necmettin Bilal Erdogan, the son of Turkey's President Recep Erdogan. Ita Fatia Nadia
Ita Fatia Nadia is a researcher, grassroots activist, feminist, and human rights advocate. She was the director of the women’s organization Kalyanamitra during the New Order regime and co-founded Ruang Arsip dan Sejarah, a research center, and archive for women’s history. She has been an activist and advocate against gender-based violence for over 40 years. As the senior member of the Volunteer Team for Humanity (Tim Relawan untuk Kemanusiaan-TRuK), she was on the ground assisting in rescue efforts, and its subsequent rehabilitation and demand for justice for victims during the 1998 demonstration and riot.

Lala Bohang
Lala Bohang is a Jakarta-based visual artist and writer from Makassar. Despite her architectural background and initially working in the corporate world, she found solace and her true passion in drawing and storytelling. Since 2009, Lala has exhibited her talent in various group exhibitions in Indonesia and internationally. Lala gained widespread recognition with her bestselling trilogy—The Book of Forbidden Feelings (2016), The Book of Invisible Questions (2017), and The Book of Imaginary Beliefs (2019)—in which Lala combines text and drawing to create a unique storytelling style. Her collaborative work, The Journey of Belonging (2020), co-authored with Lara Nuberg, received the prestigious 2020 International Ronald McDonald Award. Lala's latest work, In the Middle of Everything (2023), is accompanied by a captivating solo exhibition, reflecting her unique style of storytelling. Beyond her artistic pursuits, Lala is a prominent name in literature industry, one of the co-founder and curator for Pear Press—a nextgen book label collaboration between Simpul Group and Gramedia Pustaka Utama, and this year appointed as one of the curator for the 20th anniversary Ubud Writers & Readers Festival's anthology. Maria Catarina Sumarsih
Maria Catarina Sumarsih completed her education at the People's School in 1963 and later finished the State High School for Economics (SMEA) in Salatiga in 1969. In 1976, she married Arief Priyadi and has since raised two children. Relocating to Jakarta in 1977, she dedicated herself to teaching at Budi Murni Middle School, West Jakarta, until 1983, when she was accepted to work at the Secretariat General of the DPR (House of Representatives). Tragedy struck when her eldest son, Benardinus Realino Norma Irawan (Wawan), a student at Atma Jaya University, became a victim during the Semanggi I Tragedy. Seeking justice for her son, Sumarsih joined other victims' families and human rights activists in initiating the Kamisan Action—a peaceful demonstration held every Thursday in front of the Merdeka Presidential Palace. Beginning on January 18, 2007, the action aimed to compel the state to address serious human rights violations in Indonesia, including the Semanggi Tragedy, Trisakti, the May 13-15 1998 Tragedy, the Tanjung Priok Incident, the 1989 Talangsari Incident, and other cases.
