Anaesthesiologist and a professional concert playing pianist

Dr. Dhanwanti Rajwade is a practicing Anaesthesiologist, in Mumbai. She has been playing the piano for over thirty years and holds a Performer's Certificate Diploma from Trinity College London. She runs a western classical music appreciation club called Allegro in Mumbai.

Fiona Dias Miranda

Sexuality Educator

Dr. Fiona Dias Miranda has a Doctorate in Microbiology from the University of Dayton, Ohio, where she served as faculty as also later, at St. Xaviers College, Mumbai. Her own kids and her teaching years at University led her to observe that addressing aspects of sexual education in young adolescents was equally important along with formal education. Seeing this lack of addressal, it inspired her to start her series of - Reproductive and Sexual Health Awareness since 2008 for adolescents (ages of 8–16 years), parents and teachers. She serves as director, faculty and facilitator with the NGO Seeds of Awareness and Research Foundation - an organisation that does Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) with adolescents through experiential methodology thus enabling informed choices.

Jeroo Mulla

Head of Film Making Department

Jeroo Mulla was the Head of the Sophia Institute of Social Communications Media, Mumbai from 2012 -2013 and the Head of the Social Communications Media Department, Sophia Polytechnic, Mumbai from 1986 – 2012. She has been teaching film appreciation, photography and the Fundamental Concepts of Communications, and supervising student documentaries at the Sophia Polytechnic for over thirty years since 1979. Currently she continues to teach film and photography as a visiting faculty at Sophia Polytechnic and at various other media institutes such as Xavier’s Institute of Communications and Symbiosis Institute of Mass Communications. She is also a media consultant, and was on the advisory boards of the Xavier’s BMM course and the Haridev University of Communications in Jaipur. She is currently also on the advisory board of the Drama School of Mumbai.

Mridula Ramesh

Mridula Ramesh is the author of critically acclaimed, ‘The Climate Solution – India’s Climate Change Crisis and What We Can Do About It’. She is founder of the Sundaram Climate Institute, which focuses on waste and water solutions and education. She is an active angel investor in cleantech start-ups, with a portfolio of over a fifteen start-ups. Mridula sits on several angel management groups, including the Indian Angels and the Chennai Angels, and is involved in several initiatives to spur entrepreneurship to build climate resilience.

Nisa Shetty

Nisa Shetty is an actress, singer and song-writer. At a young age, Nisa began training as a singer - Indian and western, dance; kathak and contemporary and also acting at the Akshara Theatre under the guidance of internationally known theatre artists Jalabala Vaidya and Gopal Sharman who are also her grandparents. Their play "The Ramayana" is one of the only plays from India to have successfully run on Broadway and world over with 2000+ performances. Nisa has acted in over 25 plays including The Ramayana, and played lead roles in Ritusamhara, The English Teacher, The Revised Kama Sutra, The Strange Case of Billy Biswas, the Sherlock Holmes series, etc. She plays the role of Babette in Disney's spectacular stage production Beauty And The Beast. She has an acted in commercials and documentaries and short feature films and has done voice overs, ad jingles. Nisa was a contestant in the final top 10 of Television reality show "The Stage 3" on Colors Infinity Channel.

Priya Hingorani

Priya Hingorani was born on March 27, 1967 in New Delhi to lawyer parents, Late Mrs. Kapila Hingorani, Barrister, and Mr. N.H. Hingorani, Senior Advocate. She completed her schooling from Sardar Patel Vidyalaya, New Delhi. Thereafter, she graduated in B.A. English (Hons.) from I.P. College for Women, University of Delhi and completed her Bachelors in Law (LL.B.) from the Faculty of Law, University of Delhi.Has always been a keen sportsperson and has represented the Delhi State as well as the University of Delhi in Basketball. Her other interests include music, theatre and travelling. Has been in active law practice since the year 1990 when she was enrolled as an Advocate with the Bar Council of Delhi. Has handled matters pertaining to diverse fields of law, including taxation, customs and excise, insurance, family and matrimonial law, commercial law, labour and service law, human rights and constitutional law.

Teenasai Balamu

Non Binary Singer and Songwriter

Teenasai Balamu (@grapeguitarbox) is a queer, indie musician based in London, UK (formerly based out of Bangalore, India). They perform under the stage name GrapeGuitarBox. What started out as a simple cover series on YouTube, has built a reputation for putting an interesting twist on popular music. With their music, Teenasai wishes to create a space safe from labels, judgement, and discrimination; a space for all the misfits. As a queer person, Balamu says “I wanted to make queer music videos. And I wanted brown people in it. Growing up, I didn't find queer people who looked like me and often felt isolated. I believe that visibility is super important.”

SINGER/ACTRESS, VIVIENNE POCHA, has been known to regale audiences with her soulful, stirring vocal and theatrical prowess. A winner of the Jack Daniel/Rolling Stone Award for Best Vocalist of the year, and a twice recipient of The Woman Super Achiever Award, she interestingly combines jazz, blues, funk, soul and rock styles in her performances. She has starred in some of Mumbai's major musicals taking the lead roles in Musicals like Blood Brothers, Sound of Music, The Wiz, Jesus Christ Superstar and The Witness. She has performed with International Bands, The Chicago Jazz Express, and The Trilok Gurtu Band.
