It all starts with one idea...

In the spirit of "ideas worth spreading," TED has created TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At TEDxLAU, TEDTalks and activities will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group.
The first event will be a TEDx Salon. We will screen 3-4 TEDTalks and have discussions/activities after each. Come on over to LAU and be part of this initiative where university students and professionals are inspired to work together and present creative, exciting new ideas. We do hope that these individual Salons will later lead to a full-blown event with live speakers at LAU this summer.
