As the world races towards innovating and making breakthrough discoveries in the field of science, technology, commerce and the arts, Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai also finds it important to expose its students to the ever-changing world around them. With this TEDxICTMumbai endeavor, ICT plans to inculcate the spirit of sharing ideas, discovering new ways of looking at the way things happen, and promoting the path of innovation among the students. The world is a global village and ICT intends on making sure that its students are citizens of this new world.

She recently opened a supermarket via her NGO which employs acid attack survivors and provides them a mode of income. She has won multiple awards and gained recognition for her selfless work. Her story will leave you inspired as she is truly an epitome of courage and believes that nothing is impossible

Cyber Security Expert/Blind Photographer

Pranav Lal is a Delhi based cyber security expert currently working for Ernst & Young Global Consulting services. He is also an author of a blog, Techesoteria where he talks about technology related to Sensory Substitution. He has been visually challenged since birth. With a hunger to explore something visual: beyond the capacity of his senses. He chose to pursue photography to quench this burning desire within him. He uses an artificial eye, which employs the use of vision to sound mapping. This allows him to perceive the world in his own unique way. Apart from his passion for photography, he is also Self-taught in the methods of programming and adores anything related to technology.

Sagar Shrivastava

Pursuing PhD in Mathematics

Sagar is a PhD student at Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR). He is currently working in number theory and representation theory. He is one of the members of the TIFR Outreach Committee which organizes Chai and Why on alternate weekends. Sandeep Singh , a renowned Taus and Dirubha artist hailing from the ancient city of Jalandhar in Punjab.Born in a family of traditional Raagis(Sikh devotional singers) ,he was introduced to playing Dilruba by his father at a tender age of 12.Currently an artist with All India Radio and Dhoordharsan, he has collaborated with the legendary Oscar winning composer A.R Rahman in 2018. A flag bearer of revival moment of these traditional instruments,he is definitely a treat to watch for all music lovers across the globe irrespective of their taste.

Honorary Senior Research Professor in Dept. of Physics at Jadavpur University

Mr. Shantanu Das, a BITS Pilani alumni, an ex-scientist at the prestigious Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) in the field of nuclear reactor control and safety, and an Honorary Senior Research Professor in Dept. of Physics in Jadavpur University. Recently named in the list of top 2% of the world research scientists (announced by Stanford University through PLOS Biology journal), he has authored several publications with about 3553 citations in the fields of metamaterials, fractional calculus, microwave machining and super-capacitors among many others. Several of circuits developed by him are used in control and safety critical systems of Indian nuclear plants of NPCIL(Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited) as well as in private and public sector industries. His curiosity-driven search landed him into the field of electronic circuital applications, in order to find out the science behind some of the "absurd" thoughts -rather called as counterintuitive phenomena
