Universities exist as pillars of knowledge and share similar values to those shared by TED. Many of the ideas conveyed at TED talks have been imagined, innovated, and thought-of in a lab, research center, or classroom of a University. Universities around the world continue to create some of the most fascinating ideas worth spreading. MUET is the highest-ranked engineering university of Sindh, actively contributing to the community by making a more knowledge-driven society through its research and academia. TEDxMUET is an independently organized TED event to create two things: a conference, and a community, where live Speakers and TED Talks (videos) combine to explore a range of new, important, and often little-heard ideas and perspectives. TEDxMUET will bring professionals from diverse fields and students of various disciplines in one place to create an overwhelming learning experience and the possibility of networking between people with different competencies or areas of expertise.

When his dreams were ended by his disability, this man-made an unexpected career move. Disability didn’t stop his potentials from shining and serving humanity because according to him, the story behind that social work and serving humanity was his first aim of living and his hopes didn't end, he became an inspiration for the youth too. Finally, he ended up working as a social worker. He is the founder of the Udero Lal Welfare, Gurukul Foundation, and Gurukul Welfare Academy.

Imdad Ali Nizamani

Imdad Ali Nizamani is a known agriculturist, known for his model village. He owns farmlands under the name Asim Agriculture Farms in Tando Soomro in district Tando Allah Yar. Asim agriculture farm is one of the great farms of Pakistan where high technology is used for the production. This farm is specially reserved for the agriculture scientists for the agriculture students farmers and visiting guests. The farm's total farm size is 850 acres. In which 430 acres are for family land 150 acres for lease and 170 acres for the cousin land under the supervision.d

Rehan Allahwala

He digitalized the modem and voice 16 and took 51 different initiatives at the age of 36, when he retired and started teaching through the internet, what he knows is mainly the entrepreneur.

Syed Abul Fazal Rizvi

Chief Executive Officer of SECMC

Abul Fazal Rizvi is the Chief Executive Officer of Sindh Engro Coal Mining Company (SECMC). In addition, he also serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the Thar Foundation. He advocates that success is not solely dependent on intellect but consistency; hard work and perseverance are the real keys to success.

Ubaid ul Rehman Memon

Social Activist

Ubaid is the pioneer of the idea of collecting leftover food from marriage lawns, feasts, and restaurants of Hyderabad - packing and delivering to poverty-stricken people in underprivileged areas, be it midnight or late evening. He along with his team of volunteers has placed refrigerators at different restaurants/spots to collect surplus food. He has been running campaigns & aiming to train blue-collar families to win bread is their present goal. He has coined the term “One Meal Can Heal” because food utilized is better than food wasted.
