Intelligent but incredibly humble, Duc Le from grade 12 possesses an aura of mystery that never fails to intrigue everyone he crosses paths with. 𝘘: 𝘛𝘦𝘭𝘭 𝘶𝘴 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘧.
A: I am a student at HUS High School for the Gifted. To summarize my personality in words, I would choose energetic, ambitious and self-learning. The knowledge I possess right now is all based on what I learned from the world around me. I have harbored a love for politics and law since I was a little primary schooler, so I have a dream that one day I can be the one who can inspire youngsters. Though I still have a lot of flaws, I always try my best to improve myself.
𝘘: 𝘞𝘩𝘺 𝘛𝘌𝘋𝘹𝘐𝘚𝘝?
A: Being addicted to presidential speech, I have always wondered if I would ever a chance to stand in front of hundreds of thousands of people, giving out my points of view.
For me, joining TEDxISV is a coincidence, but I see this as a chance God has given me. I will cherish this opportunity by practising my speech diligently to satisfy the audience.
Hanh Minh Nguyen
Student
We are extremely proud to present to you our next speaker, Minh Hanh! She also goes by Alice, which is the first sign that she was meant to be in our Through-The-Looking-Glass-themed event. Minh Hanh is currently staying in Hanoi after graduating high school in the USA, but she is set to enroll at University of Melbourne in early 2021. Not only is she a talented writer and an inspiring speaker who calls herself the very suitable name, “your personal hypewoman”, Minh Hanh is also an all-around caring and compassionate person who is deeply passionate about social issues.
Hung Duc Nguyen
Student
Quirky and inquisitive are two words that perfectly describe our last speaker, Nguyen Duc Hung from grade 10 of ISV. He is never afraid to speak up at all-school lectures, putting forward clever questions that make presenter and audience alike stop to ponder.
Sadhika Kapoor
Student
Currently in Grade 7 at ISV, Sadhika is our youngest speaker, but don’t be so quick to underestimate her; she will surprise you with her maturity and confidence. Sadhika is very interested in public speaking and psychology, with a particular academic enthusiasm for literature. When asked to describe herself, she chose the word “infinite” - a creative choice that demonstrates this young girl’s excellence beyond her age and thirst for knowledge. Sadhika’s motto is a quote by Milton Berle, “If an opportunity doesn't knock, build a door,” which she clearly has followed as seen through her initiative throughout her whole journey with TEDxYouth@ISV 2020.
