She is currently working as a Behavioural Science Consultant at LAB Group. Beatrice uses behavioural science for digital. She has 7 years experience working in Digital and creative and is a Keynote speaker at industry events. She is a leading member of the Human Insights Council at the British Interactive Media Association.
Elise Downing
Runner & Writer
Elise is a writer and long-distance runner from the Midlands, UK. In 2016 she became the first woman and youngest person to run 5000 miles self-supported around the coast of Britain. She ran up to 40 miles per day carrying her kit on her back and was helped along the way by the kindness of several hundred strangers. Her first book, Coasting, is due to be published later in 2021, an account of her ten-month long adventure.

Jaspreet Kaur

Jaspreet Kaur, better known as Behind the Netra for her poetry, is an award-winning spoken word artist and writer from East London. She is also an educator and spent five years teaching History, Sociology and Politics in secondary schools across London. With an academic background in both history and gender studies and a passion for social justice, Jaspreet has been committed to using her writing and spoken word to tackle gender discrimination, mental health stigma, the postcolonial immigrant experience, and taboo issues within the South Asian community. She is currently working on her debut book, "Brown Girl Like Me."

Johannes Castner is a data scientist, data engineer and AI practitioner with expertise in modern (scalable) deep learning, data pipelines, knowledge graphs and reasoning systems. Johannes has an interdisciplinary academic background in Anthropology, Economics and Computational Social Science and now he employs these skills in his support of an undergoing humanistic global transformation.

Madeleine is a British/Canadian MSc Gender student at LSE focusing on gender, race and culture in country music. She has been the country music radio presenter for W!ZARD Radio Station since 2018, talking to over 50,000 young people every week. She uses her platform to highlight critical social issues and injustices in the genre, and after graduating hopes to work in the industry to create change from within.
Mariam Tzannatos

Mariam is a Greek Lebanese student doing a BSc in International Social and Public Policy with Politics at LSE, where she is learning to one day help restructure and rebuild her home country Lebanon that has been deteriorating economically, politically, and socially. After surviving the Beirut Blast she is more driven than ever to work for this goal. In the meantime, Mariam continues to pursue her activist path by volunteering, job shadowing officials and heads of organizations, and writing political commentaries.

Mustafaen Kamal is the founder of the Dil Internship Project and "Close the Lockdown Gap." An alumni of both Oxford and LSE, Mustafaen is eager to ensure that opportunities are as accessible as possible regardless of socio-economic circumstances. The initiatives he has founded involve ensuring a more equitable distribution of human capital across the globe. His work involves coordinating with international organisations and governments to work effectively at a grassroots level in developing countries.

Poku is an award winning social entrepreneur with cross-sector experience. Poku is the founder and CEO of Babbasa – the Queens Award For Enterprise (Social Mobility) winning social enterprise, which supports underrepresented young people to pursue their ambitions. He is also the co-founder of The Black Professionals Network and board member on UWE's Business & Management Advisory Board, Business West (Chambers of Commerce) and the University of Bristol Courts.
He holds a BSc in Psychology, MSc in Business Management from UWE and Advance Project Management Certificate from Oxford University.
Sulaiman Iqbal

Sulaiman Iqbal is a third-year History student at the University of Cambridge. After his first year at university, Sulaiman returned to his council estate in Southall, West London, to build Team UPside - a grass-roots community organisation focused on tackling opportunity and resource gaps for young people in socio-economically disadvantaged areas of the UK. Sulaiman is a firm believer in the idea that local problems are most effectively addressed by local actors with local solutions.
Sydney Hamilton
Aerospace Engineer & STEM Advocate
Black Engineer of the Year – 2021 Legacy Award Winner, Sydney Hamilton, has been featured on CBS’ Mission Unstoppable, in Marie Claire Magazine, on NPR’s Wow in the World and across The Boeing Company for her innovative contributions to the aerospace industry. Sydney is an Aerospace Structures Stress Manager at Boeing in Long Beach, CA, where she and her team support multiple programs in space and commercial aircrafts. Sydney brings out her passion for STEM education through her American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) IF/THEN Ambassadorship and her Board Presidency at non-profit organization Dramatic Results. Sydney received dual degrees in Mathematics and Aerospace Engineering from Spelman College and the University of Michigan, respectively. Outside of work, Sydney can be found scuba diving, puzzling, or cooking (and especially eating) new cuisines.
