Future mars Astronaut
“Always follow your dream and don’t let anyone take it from you.” — Alyssa Carson. Alyssa has lived her 19 years on Earth a life which many can only dream of. She is the first person to complete all the NASA Space Camps in the world, including Space Camp Turkey and Space Camp Canada. In January 2013, NASA invited her to be on the MER 10 panel in Washington DC to discuss future missions to Mars live on NASA TV. She was later selected as one of seven ambassadors representing Mars One, a mission to establish a human colony on Mars in 2030. In October of 2016, Alyssa was the youngest to be accepted and graduate the Advanced Possum Academy, officially making her certified to go to space and an astronaut trainee. When she was 18, Carson earned her pilot's license. Her training has also included water survival, g force training, micro gravity flights, obtaining scuba certification, and decompression training.

Nabila Jamshed
Public Policy Specialist
Nabila Jamshed is a public policy and global governance specialist, currently working with the United Nations. She has served as a political analyst with multilateral agencies and the UN in The Hague, in India, and with the United Nations Peacekeeping Mission in South Sudan.
With a Master’s degree in Global Governance from the University of Oxford, Nabila joined the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons during the organisation’s work on chemical disarmament in Syria. She has also worked for UNESCO and with the Asian Development Bank.
In her most recent assignment with UN Peacekeeping, Nabila was posted to Juba, South Sudan, where she worked with the Joint Mission Analysis Centre during the conflict of 2016. She is a public speaker who has delivered multiple TEDx and other talks in India, and around the world, written columns for newspapers and specialises in the UN’s work on crisis response and outlawing weapons of mass destruction.
