Ariel Weiss

Dancer and Alexander Technique teacher
Ariel Weiss is a certified Alexander Technique teacher and dancer and has nurtured a lively private practice in Philadelphia since 1988. Trained as a dancer and choreographer, she delights in helping people learn to move freely in service of their structure so they can feel and function at their full potential. In addition to her private practice, Ariel coaches musicians at The Curtis Institute of Music and trains teachers at the Philadelphia School for the Alexander Technique. An inveterate mover, she enjoys moving to music whenever possible and traveling regionally and internationally to share her work with musicians, seniors, actors, dancers, teacher trainees and more. Carlos Hoyt

Diversity, equity & inclusion consultant, and psychotherapist
Carlos Hoyt, Ph.D., LICSW, is the Director of Equity and Inclusion, Belmont Day School, a Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Consultant, and a Psychotherapist. Through his research, writing, teaching, Carlos interrogates master narratives and the dominant discourse on race with the goal of illuminating and virtuously disrupting the racial worldview and reductive identity constructs in general. His approach consists of preparing participants to interact fully, empathically, courageously, and candidly; grounding all content in facts and critical thinking; and, facilitating experiential opportunities for participants to be active synthesizers who can translate cognitive growth into positive personal action. Chris Wayland

Television news executive
Chris Wayland is President and General Manager of NBC10 Boston / WBTS, Telemundo Boston / WNEU, and NECN- stations that bring important news to the Boston area- and of NBC Sports Boston, the exclusive television home of the Boston Celtics. In his roles, he is committed to providing fact-based, locally relevant and engaging information to the public. He oversees the stations’ sales, finance, marketing, and digital departments, and also manages the relationship with the storied Celtics franchise. Chris earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing from Elmira College in New York. He resides in Boston with his wife and four daughters.

Lady Malory

Singer and songwriter
Waltham’s own Lady Malory is a self-taught singer-songwriter with a vulnerably passionate vocal presence. Her style is often compared to the music of Bonnie Raitt, Susan Tedeschi, and blues rock. She captivates her audience by letting her guard down and pouring herself out. Her music if fueled by emotion and delivered straight from the heart. Her first EP “Lady Malory” was released in 2015 and is available on Spotify, iTunes, and most streaming platforms. The Lady Malory Band has played in the Boston area for over 4 years, many of their live performances can be found on YouTube. Myriam Michel

Nonprofit leader and event planner
Myriam has a passion for bringing a collaborative, people-centered approach to solving complex logistical challenges. Since 2019, she has brought this energy to her role as Executive Director of Healthy Waltham, a health and wellness organization that increased its demand for access to healthy foods during the COVID-19 pandemic. Under Myriam's leadership, Healthy Waltham has forged new partnerships, navigated the logistical challenges that accompany such rapid expansion and increased organizational funding by 200%. She is also the founder of M&M Elite Events, a boutique event planning company. She previously served as the Program Development Manager for Boston University’s African Presidential Center. Myriam holds a BA in History from UMass Dartmouth and is involved with numerous non-profit and political efforts throughout the Greater Boston area.

Tara McMullin

Writer, podcaster, and entrepreneur
Tara McMullin is a writer, podcaster, and entrepreneur. She's the founder & host of What Works, a platform that connects small business owners committed to building stronger businesses. She's also the co-founder of YellowHouse.Media, a podcast production agency. Tara brings a feminist perspective to building businesses and encourages entrepreneurs to question conventional wisdom when it comes to marketing, productivity, sales, and team-building. She draws on her varied background—from her education in religion and philosophy, experience in fitness and endurance training, and interests in science and politics—to offer a multidisciplinary approach to entrepreneurship.
