We at TEDxBME believe in making things happen. From idea to Action. Continuing on the same grounds we selected “Act Now” as TEDxBME’s theme. We strongly believe that it is now time to address, face to face the global issues that are raised on a day to day basis, be it Budapest or the world at large. We are convinced that it is now our responsibility to take the right decisions and make the right things happen. Not everything is in our absolute control, but one thing is for certain: we need to act now! We, the local community in Budapest have seen a great deal of potentially groundbreaking ideas, initiative and people who drive them in action.
With the aim of creating a diverse feel of discussion and providing a platform to drive active ongoing engagement within our circle and beyond, the theme of Act Now invites and further encourages speakers and participants to take on responsibility as a world citizen if not but to encourage a mindset of communal optimism and growth. The clock is ticking faster. It’s time for us all to Act Now!
