Darren Gold is the author of the best-selling book, Master Your Code: The Art, Wisdom, and Science of Leading an Extraordinary Life, a personal development book that helps you identify and rewrite the unquestioned beliefs that may be limiting your full potential. Darren weaves his personal background and passion for learning together with his experience as an executive coach, CEO, lawyer, investment firm partner, and management consultant to create a compelling and approachable way for people to consciously and purposefully master their own code and LEAD their lives. Darren is currently a Managing Partner at The Trium Group where he is an executive coach and advisor to CEOs and leadership teams of many of the most recognized organizations around the world.
Emerson Morley
High School Student
Emmy Morley is a Sophomore at LGHS as well as an author of YA fiction novels. She’s a Meisner trained actor in film and loves telling stories through characters. She enjoys playing guitar, horseback riding and writing for the school paper.
Choreographer and Dancer
Farah Yasmeen Shaikh is an international kathak artist - a renowned performer, choreographer and instructor, and Founder/Director of Noorani Dance. Farah is known for her evocative storytelling, technical precision, delicacy and grace, with a unique artistic voice that focuses on topics of historical, social and political relevance, whilst simultaneously maintaining the classical elements of this dance form from ancient India. Performing her own traditional and innovative works, most notably, The Forgotten Empress, focused on the life of Mughal Empress Noor Jahan and The Partition Project - a compelling performance based on the 1947 India-Pakistan Partition various forms of South Asian dance.
Based in the San Francisco Bay Area and training the next generation of Kathak artists in the U.S., Farah performs and teaches extensively in Pakistan.
Kay Mount
English Teacher
Kay Mount is a career educator. She held administrative positions at both the site and district levels and returned to the classroom at Los Gatos High in 2017, where she teaches English and mentors new teachers. Kay loves the classroom and most enjoys engaging students in conversations that explore who we are, how we might live meaningful lives, and how we can best communicate through the written word. Kay is a guitarist, singer-songwriter, poet, painter, and a transcendentalist at heart.
Stephanie Rothstein
TOSA (Teacher on Special Assignment) and English teacher
Stephanie Rothstein is a 17 Year Educator, TOSA for Los Gatos-Saratoga UHSD focused on technology integration, Co-Chair for the LEAD@LG (PBL Cross-Curricular) pathway, and 9th grade English LEAD@LG teacher at Los Gatos High School.
Stephanie is a Google for Education Certified Trainer and Innovator and recently returned from the Academy in Singapore #SAE19. She is a certified New Tech Network Trainer and Teacher. While she pursues her Admin credential this year, she hopes to model continuous growth and help inspire other educators.
