In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Aldana Moriconi

Singer

She studied piano since she was 4 years old at the "Bach" Music Conservatory. At 5 she wanted to be a singer, dancer and figure skater. When she grew up, she studied singing at the UNR, and currently she works doing shows, the last one was a season in a play written and directed by Pepe Cibría. Her hobby is skating, she did it for many years at the club and she also draws in her spare time, something she assures she runs in the family. Passionate about music, and a fan of acting work, she prides herself on having humor at hand in every situation and being able to laugh at herself. She feels a deep admiration for Astor Piazzolla, who could not meet him, but it was a gift of her life to meet Horacio Ferrer, author of her most famous works.

She studied Commercial Engineering at the UAI of Rosario And today she is the CEO and Co-Founder of Empretienda She likes to learn new things, all the time, like sewing, playing the guitar, dancing. In her spare time, she likes to disconnect, meditate, take mates doing nothing, although she confesses that it is very difficult for her to do nothing. She defines herself as a person who is passionate about what she does, too thinking but very calm. She is passionate about stories: one of the reasons why she decided to offer services to startups is because of the stories behind them. His next career dream of hers? Graphic Designer

As a boy he always liked to draw, he made magazines with his ads and jokes. That is why he studied Graphic Design in Buenos Aires. After designing brands like Rocklets or Topline working with his teacher and creator of the race, he got to know the world of branding that had just landed in Latin America. Today he has his agency @surebrandesign where he was able to work with brands like CocaCola, Chandon, Molinos, Arcor, Norton, YPF, Havanna, and many, many more. A few years ago he put out a book "QueBranding!" with photos of brands in unwanted situations. He gives talks at different universities in Latin America and gives classes in the Branding postgraduate course at the UBA and in the new Design career at the University of San Andres. In 2002 he was nominated for the Konex Awards as one of the 5 outstanding designers of the decade, something that he confesses fills him with pride.

Federico Grabich

Olympic athlete

Born in Casilda, when he was little he wanted to be a veterinarian because he liked animals. And when he finished high school he started as a Certified Public Accountant, but his professional career was really going on a very different side. Today at 31 years old he is a medalist in the 2015 World Swimming Championships in Kazan, Russia, Pan American champion in the 2015 Pan American Games and multiple medalists in the South American Games and in the South American Swimming Championships. He likes to train and compete a lot, and he is proud of having been able to maintain a high level of competition, something that is not easy after many years of repetitive action. He deeply admires Manu Ginobili, someone with whom he feels represented in all aspects. We agree right? From Carcarañá, as a teenager he settled in the labor market in the family business where he was acquiring training and non-formal training, a place where he also had many initiatives that were a clear failure, and that after unfortunate situations in the 90's led him , among other things, bankrupt. Today he is the founder and current president of Petit Fours SA, experts in single-dose and mini-portions that has almost 100 employees, 4 food industrial plants, and clients with a national and international presence, such as McDonalds and Starbucks. His admiration is directed at those people who have decided to do with their lives a service for their peers, communities, societies and the world in general.

He studied Communication Sciences at the Faculty of Social Sciences of the UBA. And at that time he also studied piano at the Popular Music School of the Argentine Union of Musicians SADEM for five years, that's why he likes to play the piano so much. At the age of 23, she started in a computer magazine, and there she fell in love, although always related to technological issues, which changed over time. Today she is a columnist in Public Morning with @ gabriel.corrado in @tv_publica 🇦🇷 She prides herself on being a good host, that includes cooking and entertaining my friends and family. He likes to know the past and to know how and where we come from. Physician with a specialty in Cardiology, subspecialized in Arrhythmias and Implantable Devices (Electrophysiology). Laura can't resist dancing in the street when she listens to music that she likes. She and neither can she imagine the world without chocolate. She collects maps, although they are hardly used on paper anymore, if they are written and walked better! Her daughter Her Paloma is her cable to her sky, her eyes to the horizon, her gaze to infinity. Casildense, professor in Natural Sciences and Graduate in Institutional Policy and Management in Education from UNR Rosario ☺️ She taught for 42 years: Professor at secondary and tertiary level, Director of secondary level schools, Supervisor at the same level. She also held positions in the Ministry of Education of the Province of Santa Fe for 12 years. Today Retired teacher. Restless, very responsible, honest and sensitive. She is proud to have found throughout her life her strength to face obstacles in life, and to always continue with hope. She learned a lot from her mother, whom she deeply admires, for having been a simple, feisty, happy woman, who valued little things and unconditionally her family. In her spare time, she is dedicated to reading and researching educational topics, since her involvement in her education is her passion.

Roberto Aquilano

Astronomer

Roberto is a curious serial, as a child he wanted to be an astronomer and today he is a Doctor in Astronomy at the Faculty of Astronomical and Geophysical Sciences of the National University of La Plata 🇦🇷 He works at the Faculty of Exact Sciences, Engineering and Surveying of the UNR and is Scientific Researcher at CONICET. Among other things, he has been Director of the Rosario Astronomical Complex, Undersecretary of what is now the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation of the Nation and visiting professor at Universities around the world. Furthermore, he has been declared "Outstanding Citizen" of our beloved Casilda, his hometown. And he was also distinguished by the Nelson Mandela Foundation, by former President of the United States and Nobel Peace Prize Jimmy Carter, by the Kings of Spain in Madrid, among others.

She enjoys teaching, convinced that as a teacher more than teaching, she learns. She cared and took care of learning what she teaches. In addition, she was a judge at the Mathematical Olympics and Science Fairs in different instances. She with a maternal family where they all worked and lived in a nursery.
