In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Dr Anil Joseph Pinto has his PhD on Translation Studies and has been serving as the Registrar of CHRIST (Deemed to be University) since 2012. He has experimented with digital technologies in higher education and teaches history of University in Doctoral Coursework. He has been a United Board Fellow and Visiting Scholar at Baylor University, Texas, USA in 2014 and Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong in 2015.

A dynamic leader who commanded 270 Engineer Regiment from January 1987 to December 1989 during Operation Pawan and later rose to the Rank of Major General. He is also a proud recipient of the Vishishta Seva Medal (VSM) and has been an inspiration to the Officers and men under his command. He has led by example to live by the motto of "Service before Self"

Sangeeta Shroff is currently In –Charge of the Agro-Economic Research Centre of the Institute, sponsored by the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Government of India. She has worked in diverse areas in the discipline of Agricultural Economics. Dr. Shroff has published several research papers and worked on projects sponsored by Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare, Government of India, Government of Maharashtra, Confederation of Indian Industries and World Bank.
