Aphisak Kamphen

Aphisak Kamphen (Aun) is a young organic farmer and youth leader from the Mae Tha Community in Northern Thailand. He gained a diploma in Industrial Design in the Fine and Applied Arts Program and decided to return home to pursue true happiness through a resilient way of living. He is the main coordinator and facilitator for the community on organic agriculture and conducts training and workshops for various groups who share the same values and vision on sustainable development. He also established and manages the “Mae Tha Sustainable Living” center for community learning, which aims to empower new generations and strengthen community networks in the organic movement in Thai society and beyond. อภิศักดิ์ กำเพ็ญ (อั๋น) เกษตรกรและแกนนำคนรุ่นใหม่ที่สนใจเกษตรอินทรีย์ จากชุมชนแม่ทา ทางเหนือของประเทศไทย จบการศึกษาระดับประกาศนียบัตรวิชาชีพชั้นสูง สาขาวิชาออกแบบอุตสาหกรรม และตัดสินใจกลับบ้าน เพื่อแสวงหาความสุขที่แท้จริงและวิถีชีวิตที่ยั่งยืน ทำงานเป็นผู้ประสานงานและช่วยเหลือชุมชนด้านเกษตรอินทรีย์ จัดอบรมและเวิร์คช็อปให้กับกลุ่มต่างๆ ที่เห็นคุณค่าของการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืนและมีวิสัยทัศน์เดียวกัน เขาได้ก่อตั้งศูนย์ “วิถีชีวิตยั่งยืนแม่ทา” มุ่งสร้างพลังให้คนรุ่นใหม่และ เสริมสร้างเครือข่ายชุมชนที่สนใจการขับเคลื่อนด้านเกษตรอินทรีย์ในสังคมไทยและที่อื่นๆ

Boonsong Thansrithong

Boonsong has a bachelor’s degree in Agriculture (Dairy and Beef Production) from Maejo University, a Master’s in Agriculture (Agriculture Extension) and a Ph.D. in Social Science, both from Chiangmai University. He serves the ECHO Asia Foundation as Program manager. Boonsong has been involved in agricultural development focusing on natural farming since 1998. In earlier years, he worked with the Leprosy community in Chiang Mai and nearby provinces, and then he became involved with Malaria research for two years before shifting back to developmental projects. Boonsong has established two agricultural training centers to assist and develop people in need in Asia. Bringkop Vora-urai

Bringkop Vora-urai graduated from the College of Music at Payap University in 1991. In 1997, he gained a Master’s in Ethnomusicology from Northern Illinois University (USA). An ethnomusicologist and composer, he is interested in blending the cultural elements of minority people in remote areas in northern Thailand into his contemporary Lanna music compositions. In 2003, he released “Bamboo in a Skyscraper - ลำไผ่ในตึกสูง”, his first recording project. The album features the Thai flute in all songs. In that year he also founded a Lanna contemporary orchestra called “The TIP Orchestra of Chiangmai”, which has performed in many major events around the country. He also founded the first Lanna Orchestra, which is a large orchestra consisting of musicians playing western instruments and Lanna musical instruments. The Lanna Orchestra first performed in the Light and Sound show for the grand opening of “Wiang Kum Kam: the Lost City” performed for then Queen Sirikit and Crown Prince Maha Vajiralongkorn. บฤงคพ วรอุไรสำเร็จการศึกษาจากวิทยาลัยดุริยางคศิลป์มหาวิทยาลัยพายัพในปี 2534 และได้รับปริญญาโทสาขาชาติพันธุ์วิทยาจากมหาวิทยาลัยนอร์เทิร์นอิลลินอยส์ (สหรัฐอเมริกา) ในปี 2540 ในฐานะนักชาติพันธุ์วิทยาและนักแต่งเพลง เขาสนใจที่จะผสมผสานองค์ประกอบทางวัฒนธรรมของชนกลุ่มน้อยในพื้นที่ห่างไกลในภาคเหนือของประเทศไทยให้เข้ากับการประพันธ์เพลงล้านนาร่วมสมัยส่วนใหญ่ของเขาในปี พ.ศ. 2546 เขาได้เปิดตัวบทเพลง “ไม้ไผ่ในตึกสูง - ลำไผ่ในตึกสูง” อัลบั้มแรกของเขา โดยในทุกบทเพลงจะใช้ขลุ่ยในการบรรเลงเพลง ในปีเดียวกัน เขาได้ก่อตั้งวงออร์เคสตราร่วมสมัยล้านนา “The TIP Orchestra of Chiangmai” และได้แสดงในงานสำคัญๆ มากมายทั่วประเทศ ในปี พ.ศ. 2546 เขาได้ก่อตั้งวงออร์เคสตราล้านนาวงแรก ซึ่งเป็นวงออร์เคสตราขนาดใหญ่จากการผสมผสานเครื่องดนตรีจากฝั่งตะวันตก และเครื่องดนตรีล้านนาเข้าไว้ด้วยกัน วงออร์เคสตราล้านนาได้แสดงครั้งแรกในการแสดงแสงสีเสียงในพิธีเปิด “เวียงกุมกาม เมืองสาบสูญ” ถวายแด่สมเด็จพระนางเจ้าสิริกิติ์และเจ้าฟ้ามหาวชิราลงกรณ์ (พระยศในขณะนั้น)

Chol Bunnag

Chol has a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Thammasat University and a master’s in Development Economics from the UK. He is currently the founder and director of SDG Move, a research center in the Faculty of Economics in Thammasat University that researches and supports the implementation of sustainable development goals (SDGs) in Thailand. He is also the manager of SDSN Thailand, which is a national network connected with the UNSDSN, a global academic network for sustainable development. Chol is an economist with interests in sustainable development, environmental management, agricultural and rural development, support systems for SDG implementation and SDG governance. Christopher Oestereich

Chris Oestereich is a writer, lecturer, and circular economy leader who formerly led zero waste programs in the US grocery industry. He now helps organizations shift towards the circular economy via his firm, Linear to Circular, and he's launching a program that will partner with informal workers to create waste-to-value products. Cyrus James Khan

Cyrus is a self-taught digital artist, 3D generalist and game developer with over 10 years of experience working in VFX, 3D modeling, animation, rendering, logic systems and everything in between. His lifelong interest in information technology and science fiction has pushed him to the cutting edge of technological advances, leading him to become an early adopter and developer in fields such as virtual reality, game development and blockchain technology. He co-founded the Atlas company, designing a decentralized freelance system, and has been taken on as a creative associate and consultant for notable companies such as the Kantana Group, the Central Group, Chang, FTCC, Propaganda GEM and more. Lalita Hanwong

Lalita Hanwong is a lecturer at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Kasetsart University in Bangkok. She teaches modern Southeast Asian history with emphasis on Myanmar and writes a weekly article for Matichon newspaper. Her research includes work on Hla Myint, the great economist of Myanmar and the relations between Myanmar and Thailand during the Cold War. Nalee (Khru Bella) Intaranan

นลี อินทรนันทน์ หรือ ครูเบลล่า ครูสอนร้องเพลง และนักรณรงค์แก้ไขปัญหา ฝุ่นควันเชียงใหม่ ของสภาลมหายใจเชียงใหม่ นอกจากนี้ยังเป็นผู้ก่อตั้งโครงการ ‘ปั่น เพื่อ เปลี่ยน’ ด้วยวัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อรณรงค์การใช้จักรยาน เป็นอีกหนึ่งทางเลือกในการสัญจรที่เป็นมิตรต่อสุขภาพและสิ่งแวดล้อม Khun Nalee Intaranan or commonly called Khru Bella is a music teacher and a local activist involved in the Chiang Mai Breath Council, She is involved in many other community projects and promotes the use of bicycles in Chiang Mai called "Spin To Change"

Pakee Phupradist

Pakee Phupradist (Key) is a Non-Alcoholic Mixologist and the founder of intangible, the only non-alcoholic cocktail bar in Thailand. His bar serves concept drinks as a “Drink Course” using local ingredients sourced from communities around the country without recourse to any alcoholic content. Each drink & course for each season will contain background stories that endow customers with meaningful ideas benefitting their thoughts and feelings. Pakee began his career as a bartender 12 years ago and has continuously worked in the F&B (food and beverage) industry since then, becoming a drinks designer, consultant, and advisor in the beverage business for companies, cafes, and bars. Pakee hold a bachelor’s degree in International Hospitality Management from Payap University. He believes that all ingredients have value and that there are no boundaries. He is intrigued by local ingredients and studies their nature, origins and traditions of use. Parit Wacharasindhu

Parit is a social entrepreneur and the CEO of StartDee, an EdTech start-up aimed at reducing inequality in education through developing an online learning application that enables students to access learning content at affordable prices. In parallel, he is leading a campaign for a democratic constitution under the Re-Solution group, having collected over 150,000 signatures to submit a draft constitutional amendment to Parliament. He is also a podcast host, a columnist, and an author on Thai politics. Phongsatorn Saisutjarit

Phongsarorn is the (Acting) Director and a lecturer at the International Institute of Space Technology for Economic Development (InSTED) at the Department of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering, King Mongkut University of Technology in North Bangkok (KMUTNB) He obtained an engineering degree from the Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics at the University of Tokyo, a Master’s in Engineering from the Department of Aerospace Engineering, Tohoku University and his PhD from the Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics from the University of Tokyo. He has been a lecturer at the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, King Mongkut University of Technology in North Bangkok (KMUTNB) since 2012. His research interests include Nano/micro/pico-satellite design and development, spacecraft guidance, navigation and control systems, and optimal and attitude controls for spacecraft. Thanisara Ruangdej

Thanisara Ruangdej studied western languages majoring in Italian at Chulalongkorn University’s Faculty of Arts before earning an MBA at Chulalongkorn University’s Faculty of Commerce and Accounting. She was a former editorial assistant and journalist for The Matter (https://thematter.co), an online news media organization. She is the project manager and co-founder of ELECT, (https://elect.in.th), which uses data and digital technology to promote democratic ideas and create more civil participation in Thailand’s politics and elections. Torplus Yomnak

Torplus is an assistant professor and the director of political economics studies at the Faculty of Economics, Chulalongkorn University. His passion in fighting corruption and enhancing good governance started since his undergraduate degree, when he wrote his first academic article on Corruption in Thailand, and he used his findings from this for his PhD dissertation. At Chulalongkorn University, he co-founded SIAM Lab to study corruption from multidisciplinary approaches including economics, law, political science, education, linguistics, and data analytics to obtain a wider spectrum regarding solutions. Findings from the research are then implemented by HAND Social Enterprise, which he also co-founded, and which creates an ecosystem that systematically facilitates anti-corruption and good governance initiatives in Thailand. ต่อภัสสร์เป็นอาจารย์และผู้อำนวยการศูนย์ศึกษาเศรษฐศาสตร์การเมืองอยู่ที่คณะเศรษฐศาสตร์ จุฬาฯเขาเริ่มสนใจเรื่องการต่อต้านคอร์รัปชันและเสริมสร้างธรรมาภิบาลตั้งแต่ที่เลือกศึกษาเรื่องนี้ในปริญญานิพนธ์สมัยเรียนปริญญาตรี และได้นำข้อค้นพบจากงานนี้ไปศึกษาต่อจนจบปริญญาเอก เมื่อเรียนจบกลับมาสอนที่จุฬา ต่อภัสสร์ได้ร่วมก่อตั้งศูนย์วิจัย SIAM Lab ซึ่งมุ่งเน้นศึกษาเรื่อง คอร์รัปชันผ่านมุมมองหลากหลายศาสตร์ ทั้งเศรษฐศาสตร์ นิติศาสตร์ รัฐศาสตร์ การศึกษา ภาษาศาสตร์ และวิทยาศาสตร์ข้อมูล เพื่อหาแนวทางแก้ไขปัญหาที่ ครอบคลุมและหลากหลายขึ้นกว่าเดิม จากนั้นผลวิจัยต่าง ๆ ของศูนย์วิจัยจะได้ถูกนำมาประยุกต์ใช้จริงโดย แฮนด์ วิสาหกิจเพื่อสังคม ที่เขาร่วมก่อตั้ง ทำให้เกิดเป็นระบบนิเวศที่ส่งเสริมงานต่อต้านคอร์รัปชันและเสริมสร้างธรรมาภิบาลในประเทศไทยอย่างเป็นระบบ

Wan Wiriya

Wan Wiriya is a lecturer at the Environmental Science Research Center and Department of Chemistry at the Faculty of Science, Chiang Mai University. His expertise is in air pollution monitoring for particulate matter, PAHs (Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons) from biomass burning, atmospheric acid accumulation, masks for protecting against PM2.5 micro-particles and COVID-19 viruses, and low-cost sensor development. He also assists in relevant community activities. ว่าน วิริยา เป็นอาจารย์ศูนย์วิจัยวิทยาศาสตร์สิ่งแวดล้อมและภาควิชาเคมี คณะวิทยาศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ เชี่ยวชาญในเรื่องการตรวจสอบมลพิษทางอากาศ รวมถึงเรื่องฝุ่นละออง PAHs (Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons) จากการเผาไหม้ของสารชีวมวล การสะสมของกรดในบรรยากาศ หน้ากากสำหรับการป้องกัน PM2.5 และ COVID-19 การพัฒนาระบบตรวจจับต้นทุนต่ำ รวมทั้งมีส่วนช่วยเหลือในหลายๆ กิจกรรมของชุมชน

Wayla Amatathammachad

Wayla is the current director of the International Low-Fat Art Fes that focuses on multi-level collaboration between art communities and CSOs to expand utilization of contemporary arts in society. He is also an independent contemporary art management researcher. His current project involves developing an open art network called ‘Prayoon for Art’ that includes volunteer art enthusiasts from all backgrounds to help build alliance networks stimulating the transnational sustainable creative ecosystem. เวลาดำรงตำแหน่งผู้อำนวยการเทศกาลศิลปะนานาชาติ Low Fat Art Fes ที่มุ่งเน้นการสร้างความร่วมมือระหว่างชุมชนศิลปะและภาคประชาสังคมเพื่อขยายโอกาสในการหยิบใช้งานศิลปะร่วมสมัยในสังคม เขายังเป็นนักวิจัยอิสระทางด้านการจัดการโครงการศิลปะ เวลากำลังผลักดันเครือข่ายสาธารณะภายใต้ชื่อ 'ประยูรเพื่อศิลปะ' ที่รวบรวมอาสาสมัครที่มีความสนใจในศิลปะจากหลากหลายความเชี่ยวชาญเพื่อสร้างเครือข่ายพันธมิตรในการขับเคลื่อนการสร้างนิระบบนิเวศการทางความคิดสร้างสรรค์ระดับข้ามชาติ
