Anna Teo is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Co-Founder of Hernan Corporation Sdn Bhd.
After graduation, she pursued employment as a flight stewardess for Malaysia Airlines. This exposure to international waters sparked her compassion to transport unique Malaysian products around the world. Having started Hernan Corporation in 2001, Anna has aspired to be the top leader of the durian exporting industry, with her ultimate goal aiming to turn Hernan into a fully integrated durian export company for fresh and frozen fruits, as well as durian desserts.
Branded as the ‘Musang Queen of Malaysia’, Anna has led Hernan to win numerous business awards such as the SOBA (Export Market), Golden Bull, SME Corporation’s Enterprise 50 Award, and many more. She was also recognized as SOBA’s Female Entrepreneur of the Year in January 2020.
Datuk Nicol Ann David
Retired Professional Squash Player
Born August 26th 1983 in Penang, Malaysia, Datuk Nicol Ann David is widely considered one of the greatest squash players of all time. She has recently retired from the competitive world. Being an 8 time World Champion and 10 time Asian Champion, Datuk Nicol is considered one of Malaysia's most trusted personalities.
Her next mission is to give back and be an inspiration to women in sports. She is currently an opinion writer in Malaysia’s biggest newspaper, The Star, and she also does motivational speaking, encouraging women and youth.
Her other involvements include being a Sport for Good Ambassador for the Laureus Foundation and serving as the National Goodwill Ambassador for United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Malaysia.
Derek Kok

Derek Kok is a Research Associate at the Jeffrey Sachs Center on Sustainable Development and the Jeffrey Cheah Institute on Southeast Asia.
Derek’s research focuses on social and welfare policies for children, particularly the linkages between social protection and child malnutrition. His recent publications reviewed childhood stunting in Malaysia, universal school breakfast schemes, and cash transfer programmes from a social protection framework.
Derek has worked on public policy at both the national and international level – developing policy responses to violent extremism in Malaysia, drafting the national private sector anti-corruption framework for the Bhutan Government, and assisting on land & constitutional reform initiatives in Myanmar.
Dr Dzaeman Dzulkifli
Director of the Tropical Rainforest Conservation and Research Centre (TRCRC) in Malaysia
Dr Dzaeman Dzulkifli is the Director of the Malaysian Tropical Rainforest Conservation and Research Centre (TRCRC) and a committee member of Malaysian Environmental NGOs (MENGO).
Dr Dzaeman Dzulkifli is a PhD holder from the University of Zurich. His work focuses on halting the loss of plant species in Malaysia through safeguarding and restoration initiatives such as the Central Forest Spine and Heart of Borneo. His current work involves developing the means to reduce trans-boundary haze issues in collaboration with the World Resource Institute of Indonesia and IDH. The NGO is currently the secretariat of the MYCFS consortium, which consists of various NGOs working on issues related to forest fragmentation and connectivity in peninsular Malaysia.
Julian Yee
SEA Games Figure Skating Gold Medalist & Winter Olympian
Julian Yee is a National Figure Skater. He was one of the first Malaysian Winter Olympians and is a two time SEA Games Champion. Julian started skating at the age of 4, where he developed and started making an impact in competitions. Eventually, he made his way into the World Championship stage and finally the Winter Olympics!
Ng Hau Wei
Deputy Project Director (Tunnel) of Klang Valley Mass Rapit Transit (KVMRT)
Ng Hau Wei has 20 years of Civil Contractor experience in large infrastructure project and over 15 years of 60 kilometres tunnel construction experience covering shield and unshielded mechanized tunnelling methods.
He is currently the Deputy Project Director of KVMRT underground project and the lead in driving the Tunnelling Research Programme. His work includes mega construction of the dual-purpose SMART Tunnel in Kuala Lumpur, the interstate Electrified Double Track Project of Peninsular Malaysia and KVMRT, the country’s 1st metro rail and at present time, pushing to complete its 2nd line.
His experience covers dam, rail and road tunnel construction in various geologies, including extreme karst limestone. His most notable achievements are joint development of the world’s first Variable Density Tunnel Boring Machine (VD TBM) and the making of the first Autonomous Tunnel Boring Machine (A-TBM).
