In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Bunty Rao

Bunty Rao is a man who should be idealised for the humanitarian he is. He dropped his corporate job to be a lifeguard on Juhu Beach and he has saved over 50 lives in the last 16 years. He trained from Baywatch Lifeguard Association. His sense of responsibility drives him to make a difference every day and strive towards making this world a better place.

Daniel Mendonca

Daniel Mendonca is the first Indian intersex TEDx Speaker and represented India in the United Nations in 2014. She is also the first individual from the LGBTQIA+ Community to be awarded the Vidyarthi Bharti Ratna Award. Her journey started as she fought and succeeded in the construction of the first third gender toilet in a college and from there, she has worked hard to make the world a friendly place for the LGBTQIA+ Community. She has also been invited as a guest at various international forums.

Dr Radhakrishnan Pillai

Author of the book, Corporate Chanakya, winner of the 2009 Sardar Patel Award, Dr. Pillai is a leading management guru and also the director of the Chanakya Institute of Public Leadership (CIPL) - a training for future leaders inspired by the ancient Indian wisdom. He has also hosted a radio show “Ask Chanakya’ on Moksha Channel of Worldspace Satellite Radio which has completed nearly 100 shows. He has represented India in various national and international conferences including the Academy of Management (AOM) in San Antonio, Texas.

Harjeet Khanduja

Harjeet Khanduja is an international speaker, writer, poet, visionary, influencer and a HR Leader. He is an alumnus of IIT Roorkee and INSEAD. He is currently working with Reliance Jio. He has been conferred with HR Leadership Award, Pride of Nation Award, HR personality of the year, Global Digital Ambassador and Global Learning Award. Harjeet has been a LinkedIn Power Profile, Chicken Soup Writer, TEDx speaker, Guest Faculty at IIM Ahmedabad, Board Member of Federation of World Academics and Co-chair of Nasscom Diversity Committee.

She has worked to make all public places and transport to be more accessible for disabled people and raising awareness about the same. She is an esteemed speaker and profound motivator. She is an inspiration that says limits exist only in the mind.

Sarang Gosavi

Sarang Gosavi, a thinker, a change seeker and change maker, who has been in Kashmir since 2002. He is the founder of Aseem Foundation. He is helping the Kashmiri youth to become entrepreneurs by providing training; and on the larger front helping establish a bond between Kashmiris and the rest of the India.

Sumaira Abdulali

Sumaira Abudlali is an environmentalist from Mumbai, founder of the NGO Awaaz Foundation and convenor of the Movement against Intimidation, Threat and Revenge against Activists (MITRA). She was co-chairman of the Conservation sub-committee and honorary secretary of Asia's oldest and largest environmental NGO, the Bombay Natural History Society.
