In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Kabir is a senior at the American Embassy School who has been living in India for the past twelve years. He is an avid visual and performing artist, currently serving as the President of the Tri-M Music Honor Society and as the Vice President Emeritus of the National Art Honor Society at AES. Other than TEDxYouth@AES, Kabir enjoys participating in public speaking events, having led and participated in various Model United Nations conferences and having served as his Speech and Debate team's Head Captain in 2019. Recognizing the multitude of opportunities that he was presented in high school, Kabir seeks to provide insight on the importance of seizing opportunities as they come and letting curiosity guide individuals as they traverse not only through high school but also through life.

Inspired by Yuval Noah Harari’s detailed recollection of human evolution, Sapiens, Karan investigated the scientific basis for humanity’s survival and considered several perspectives on the direction of the human race. In his talk, he uncovers the mystery of our dominance in the biological realm and postulates the unprecedented power we have to change the world. With a plethora of urgent problems at our doorstep, we need answers now - but no one can definitively predict the consequences of the human condition. What will we become?

Vikram Londhe from the Natskies observatory works on innovative, affordable, and accessible technologies and tools to reveal the marvels of the universe to children with visual and hearing impairments. [Vikram has a background that entails working in and with Astronomy Communication, Public access and research Observatories, Planetariums, Science Centres. He strives to promote inclusive education by designing and delivering experiential learning space programs.] Here, Vikram shares key learnings and insights– the experience of learning and the importance of inclusive education in society. With the various challenges on the path ahead, he shares his dream: to take astronomy and space science education to every corner of the nation and inspire the next generation of the space force. He is the paragon of the idea that one who yearns to help, teach, and inspire can do so from any occupation and anyplace, even beyond skies.
