In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

He currently works with 10 mainstream and special schools in Mumbai as a visiting school psychiatrist, counselor and school mental health expert. He also a visiting professor for various Teacher Training Courses across Mumbai. Dr. Desouze has over 600 publications in national and international journals to his credit and he is also the author of eight books in the area of mental health.

Ken Fernandes is a qualified fashion designer from Mumbai, having studied fashion design, he now redefines fashion and pursues his interests and talents in fashion design , costume design, and also corporate uniforms and business wear, Ken has been showcasing his couture and pret line at the esteemed Lakme Fashion week since past 6 seasons, for 5 seasons at IBFW (India beach fashion week). He also has showcased his collection at India luxury style week in Bangalore last season and lately at the Mysore fashion week & INDIA RUNWAY WEEK 2016-2017 Ken has also impressed the state of Goa at the IRFW (India resort fashion week) where the critics called his collection “poetry on the runway”.
