Stephanie Dancel, Ashley Chang, Allie Nguyen, Elisa Fong-Hirschfelder are all members of Mountain View High School's Dance Spectrum program where students study dance and choreograph their own performances.

Student
Akhand is a junior at Mountain View High School. He is the Web Managing Editor in Chief of Oracle, a passionate film student at Freestyle Academy, and an avid volunteer with E3 Youth Philanthropy.
Caleb Sharman
Student
Caleb is a freshman at Mountain View High School. He moved to Mountain View this past summer after living in Japan, China and Vietnam for a total of 8 years. He enjoys basketball, volleyball, running, videography, and debate.
Eli Shustock

Eli Shustock is a junior at MVHS. Besides spending most of his time reading and reciting poetry, he still makes time to deliver speeches to the whole school.
Ellie Green
Student
Ellie is a junior at Mountain View High School. She enjoys working backstage in this very theater and staying involved in politics outside of school. She is an avid reader and can often be found in a coffee shop downtown with her friends.
Erik Zhang
Student
Erik, a senior, is constantly trying new things. Despite hating public speaking, he joined the debate team in middle school and now competes nationally. He enjoys backpacking, singing, and building tech that helps people.
Katie Krauss
Police Captain
Captain Katie Krauss attended UC Santa Cruz and holds a B.A. in Environmental Studies and a Master's in Education. Katie was a school teacher in San Jose and Long Beach before pursuing her career in law enforcement. Katie joined the Los Altos Police Department in 2011 after spending three years with the San Jose Police Department. During her tenure with Los Altos, Katie has served as a Patrol Officer, Field Training Officer, School Resource Officer, Police Agent and Patrol Sergeant. In 2018, she was promoted to Captain where she now oversees the Operations Division, comprised of Patrol, Investigations, Traffic, Canine Handler, and Reserves. She keeps busy balancing her work life and family life, spending time with her husband of 14 years and two kids.
Matan Hamam
Student
Matan Hamam is a sophomore at Mountain View High School. When he isn’t spending time practicing piano, guitar, drums, or a different instrument in Packard Hall, he can be found working as President of his chapter in the Jewish youth movement BBYO, or working on his Italian skills for his upcoming 6 month exchange to Italy.
CEO of Rise, Inc.
Max Lubin is the CEO of Rise, Inc., a student-led nonprofit advocating for free public higher education and to end college student hunger and homelessness. Max is also an advisor to the Hope Center for College, Community, and Justice and a graduate student currently on leave from the Goldman School of Public Policy at the University of California, Berkeley. Previously, Max was appointed by the Obama Administration to serve in the U.S. Department of Education where he helped shape more than $1 billion in annual investments in innovative schools, nonprofit organizations, and institutions of higher education nationwide. Before serving in the Obama Administration, Max worked on local, state, and national electoral and advocacy campaigns focused on advancing equity and opportunity. Max is originally from Los Angeles, California.
Owner, Gold Star Gymnastics
Pamela Evans bought Gold Star Gymnastics in Mountain View, California, in 2001. She started coaching gymnastics as a high school freshman in 1979, and has taught in every facet of the sport while attending college and graduate school, plus all the years in between. She was named a National Instructor for USA Gymnastics in 2015, has a Bachelor’s in Psychology from Carleton College, a Masters of Fine Arts in Dance Education from UC Irvine, and a PhD in Dance from Texas Woman’s University. Under her leadership, Gold Star has grown into one of the largest and most successful gymnastics clubs in the country with over 120 employees (half of them high schoolers) and more than 3000 children tumbling through the gym every week.
Roo Joshi
Student
Roo is a junior at Mountain View High School. As well as being involved in her school’s Mock Trial team, she also pursues a lot of her artistic interests outside of school, like theatre, music, and writing.
