Angélica Quiñonez
Angélica is a Guatemalan author, comedian, and digital analyst. She got her bachelor's degree in Literature and Communications at Universidad del Valle de Guatemala. She has developed a career in digital marketing and technological development. She studied her MBA at Barcelona's European School of Business ENEB. As of 2020, she has published two books, Teoría de cuerdas and El atentado del cuaderno negro. Ms. Quiñonez also performs as a stand-up comedian in Guatemala City and co-hosts a web series called La Ciudad de Los Libros.

Daniel is Guatemalan and visionary. At just 21 years old, he has helped more than 500 people fulfill their dream of continuing to learn through low-cost, high-quality education. Edwin Kestler
Born in Guatemala City, is currently Chief Technology Officer(CTO) and Co-founder of flatbox, SA one of the first Guatemalan Internet of Things (IoT) companies and the first to be named among the four most innovative companies in the world for IoT in the Smart Cities category at the Mobile World Congress in 2017 in Barcelona Spain; with 10 years of experience as Head of Telecommunications and engineering on a local financial institution, specialized in information Security, with several certifications in that area such as: CCISP, CISM, ITIL; also took part of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MiT) first IoT bootcamp, has obtained several national and international recognitions for his innovative IoT projects. It was his field work on rural telecommunications that bare him witness to the profound impact of technology as a catalyst to accelerate social and economic development, even in the most isolated places and in the most precarious of social conditions; this living experience in the field of rural telecommunications is what now drives him now toward his goal of applying innovation and the power of the Internet of Things revolution for global positive social change.

Janice Burt
Janice, aka Spanish Janice, is a court-certified Spanish interpreter, voiceover artist, yoga instructor, author, and inspirational speaker. Having lived in Mexico City as a child, she acquired not only Spanish language skills, but a love and appreciation for another group of people and culture. When she returned back to California, she attended high school and college, graduating with Spanish as her major and Communication Studies as her minor.
Lucía Montepeque
Lucía is an actress, singer-songwriter, and fashion designer born in Guatemala on the 6th of July of 1985. She graduated from Musical Theater in A.M.D.A, New York, with a fashion degree from UNIS Guatemala. She has been working in her home country in the artistic industry since 2013, in the fields of Theater, Musical Theater, Music, Cinema, Music Videos, Entertainment, and Commercial Advertisements. She also works on creating her own music with 4 original songs released and continues to learn and work in acquiring new tools for her profession by participating in regular Broadway jazz lessons, singing lessons, and stage combat.
Pedro Ruiz
Pedro believes that designing Joy as the centerpiece and guiding principle of any product/service is vital to its long-term success. An optimistic Futurist with a firm belief in building a better future through Abundance, he often finds himself helping companies identify converging exponential technologies they can leverage to radically transform the world. He’s the founder of Iterate Labs and Exponential Real Estate, firms through which he’s exploring applications of Artificial Intelligence in Finance, Real Estate, Music, and Education. His latest research is focused on Human-AI collaboration to unlock human super creativity and the application of biometric inputs to create dynamic music landscapes. Throughout his career, he’s been involved in several projects exploring Human-Computer Interaction and interfaces for AI-centered products and services. He’s a certified IDEO U coach, with over 10 years of experience as a Human-Centered designer, where he helps students and companies leverage Design Thinking in all aspects of their life and business. When he’s not working on Design or programming machine learning algorithms, he serves as the Ambassador for Singularity University’s Chapter in Austin (TX), where he hosts events interviewing experts and highlighting local companies leveraging exponential technologies to shift from an era of scarcity to one of abundance at a global scale.
Young Seo Kim
Young Seo Kim was born on April 4, 2004, in Guatemala City to Korean parents. She is currently attending the American School of Guatemala. Young Seo is passionate about politics and foreign affairs and plans to major in either of them for college.
