Theme: Retour Vers Le Futur

Après « la magie des idées » en 2017, puis le « déclenchement de la curiosité » en 2018, TEDxGanhito revient en 2019 avec un thème flambant neuf : « Retour Vers Le Futur ».

Ce thème plutôt original vient à point nommé dans un contexte où chaque individu devrait faire partie de ce voyage spacio temporel entre le passé le présent et le futur, en vue de prototyper ce futur que nous souhaitons tant voir. 2020 sera une année extraordinaire et marquera le début de nouvelles innovations tous domaines confondus.

Avec une notoriété incontestable, TED est le média idéal pour faire entendre des voix. Cet événement, indépendamment organisé sous licence TED, viendra certainement marquer l’année 2019 en entrant dans l’histoire des prédictions futures pour l’Afrique et le monde.

L’événement sera un mélange d'histoires, de créativités, de concepts, et d’idées dans le but d'inspirer, d'illuminer et d'émerveiller.

Her major goal in live is the empowerment of all girls and women. So, she thinks about how technology can help women in their daily work in order to help them be more autonomous. Autonomisation of all girls and women for 2030: that's her dream She believe that to achieve this objective, three cumulative conditions need to be satisfied. First of all, the education of all girls and women. That's why she trained girls in mathematiques and physics and to think like a STEM girl. Secondly, only women can empower women, therefore, women need to be motivated and trained to stand up and work for a better life conditions for all girls and women that's why she created an NGO called NYONUKPIKPE, which motivate and train women to take action.

CLAIRE HAZOUME

Chargée de communication et de recrutement

Claire Hazoumé est Géographe de formation. Son principal travail de recherche porte sur l’étude des migrations étudiantes (notamment africaines) vers l’Inde, et sur une géographie du savoir qu’elle voit se dessiner. Elle a travaillé en Inde, au Nigeria, en France (coopération universitaire) et au Ghana (formation continue) avant de rentrer au Bénin en 2016. Pendant 2 ans, elle est administratrice d’une école maternelle et primaire privée à Cotonou (Bénin). Elle y découvre les réalités du système éducatif béninois, et prend la mesure des défis locaux en matière d’éducation.

In 2018, she founded the NGO Eco-Promos, whose objectives include the identification and study of ecotourism products, the contribution to development, the valorisation of Benin's ecotourism sites, the protection of the environment and above all, the contribution to community development through the implementation of humanitarian work. Beyond ecotourism, Stella also intervenes in community intermediation, management and coordination of school canteens with the International NGO Caritas BENIN in technical partnership with the World Food Program (WFP).

LAURINDA EMMANUELLE GODJO

Urban Planner

S. Emmanuelle Laurinda GODJO is a young urban planner. She currently works as Program Officer urban planning at Justice Empowerment Initiative (JEI) an American organization which empowers poor and marginalized individuals especially slums dwellers in Nigeria and Benin to lead the changes that they would like to see in their own communities by bringing technical expertise in law, advocacy, urban planning, and creative media. She is the U.S State Department Alumna of the Mandela Washington Fellowship which she attended in the U.S at Virginia Tech University, Alexandria in June 2019. Laurinda is also an author on Urbanet.info where she has two articles to her credit. She represented her country at UN-Habitat conferences and first Assembly as young woman leader in the field of urban planning. Her dream is to see each citizen having access to affordable housing and living in a healthy environment in cities.

Il a à son actif plusieurs travaux sur ces technologies dans les domaine du jeu vidéo, de l'assurance et du divertissement. Son but est de promouvoir l'utilisation de ses technologique et de les rendre facilement accessible à tous.

young professional working into the communication field, with a side work as an assistant researcher in a laboratory of Sociology in Benin where she lives. She just started a PhD research in sociology of cultures and societies at the FASHS multidisciplinary doctoral school of the University of Abomey-Calavi in Benin. Currently working at the ministry of digitalization in Benin, her real passion evolves around writing and inquiring on women, with a specific focus on women bodies and sexualities. Her journey to understand how women live their sexuality, led her to work on various projects involving women sex workers, urban and rural areas women, students, professionals and more recently virgin young girls. All these experiences with different types of women, made her realize there is much to say about how women engage in sex in countries that are still rooted in tradition and cultures.

RUBEN ALBA AGUILERA

International Civil Servant

Ruben Alba Aguilera, is an international civil servant working for the European Union. He is currently serving as head of Cooperation of the European Union (EU) Delegation to Benin where he oversees a large portfolio of development cooperation projects. He holds a degree in economics (B.S.) from the University of Malaga (Spain) and a Masters (M.A.) in European Studies awarded by the College of Europe in Bruges (Belgium). As part of his undergraduate studies, he participated in exchange programmes at the University of Southampton (UK) and Dickinson College (USA). For the last 15 years, he has worked for the European Union in the areas of development cooperation in a number of positions both in Brussels (Belgium) and the EU Delegations to Guatemala, Rwanda, Djibouti and the African Union (Ethiopia)

Sandra Idossou is an afropolitan passionate on environmental protection, Tourism, Communication and Service Excellence. Before returning back to her home country Benin in July 2017, Sandra lived and worked in eight African countries for nineteen years and offered trainings in 21 African countries. As an activist, she leads a social movement #SachetHeloue aimed at raising awareness about the dangers of plastics bags. Through social media, Sandra launched a petition that led the Benin parliament to pass a bill against plastic bags. Sandra is a well-travelled person across 35 countries in Africa and in all continents. She is a multi-cultured person and speaks 7 languages. Passion is what describes Sandra Idossou in all her activities as an Entrepreneur, an activist and a global citizen.
