In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Ani Samsonyan

Member of the National Assembly
Ani Samsonyan graduated from the Department of Journalism of the Faculty of Culture of the Khachatur Abovyan Armenian State Pedagogical University. She continued her education in the International Relations Department of the International Scientific-Educational Center of the National Academy of Sciences (NAS) of Armenia. Samsonyan is a founding member of the “Bright Armenia” initiative, then the “Bright Armenia” party, press secretary of the party. On December 9, 2018 she was elected as aMember of the National Assembly from the national electoral list of the “Bright Armenia” party.

Karine Asatryan

Sarigyugh Community Council Member
Karine was born in 1972. She lives in a community called Sarigyugh, located in the Tavush region of Armenia. She has been working there as a nurse for 25 years now. In 2019 Karine was elected as a member of the Council of the Elders, and this is not her first experience in this responsible role. She loves the village she lives in and her goal now is to contribute to the development of the community as much as she can.

Kristinne Grigoryan

Deputy Minister of Justice
Kristinne Grigoryan has three degrees professionally combining Arabic Studies and Law. She has received a diploma in the French language in the field of diplomacy and international relations and is fluent in English, Russian, French, German and Arabic. Kristinne started her career in the National Assembly of Armenia and during her ten years there, she has worked in various positions starting from the Specialist at the Department for Analysis and Improvement of Legislation of the Staff to Assistant to President of the National Assembly for legal affairs;

Shake Isayan

Member of Parliament
Shake Isayan graduated from the Faculty of Radio Engineering and Communication Systems of the Armenian State Engineering University. Later, she received her MS degree at ASEU with the qualification in radio communications, radio broadcasting and television. She started her career in the political sphere in 2012, being involved in promoting the activities of the “Prosperous Armenia” party and managing information flows, monitoring the social media of the “Multi Group” concern. Later, she became Member of the National Assembly, Member of the Standing Committee on European Integration of the National Assembly and Member of the “Tsarukyan” faction. On December 9, 2018 Shake was elected as a Member of the National Assembly from the national electoral list of the “Prosperous Armenia” party.

Sona Ghazarian

Member of Parliament
Sona Ghazaryan studied in Yerevan State Linguistic University, in the faculty of Linguistics and Intercultural Communication. Afterwards, she continued her education in Poland getting her Master’s degree in European Studies. Before starting her political career Sona worked as an assistant to an expert of media mission of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) / Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR), participated in the monitoring of the parliamentary elections. Starting from September, 2018 to January, 2019 she was a member of Yerevan Council of Elders ("My Step" alliance of parties). On December 9, 2018 -she was elected as a Member of the National Assembly from the national electoral list of the “My Step” alliance of parties.

Vache Terteryan

Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure
Vache graduated from the Faculty of Economic Cybernetics in Yerevan Institute of National Economy, having qualification of an engineer-economist. He started his career as a junior scientific researcher at the Computational Center of the ASSR state plan. In 2001 he was the Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Urban Development. 2001-2002 Vache got the position of the Head of Governmental Staff of the Department of Territorial Administration and Local Self-government of RA. Since 2016 he is the First Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Development of RA
