KALEIDOSCOPE
The kaleidoscope is merely symbolic of the world as a whole which gives rise to multifarious ideas and perspectives. The loose bits of the instrument come together to form an entirety of an image which provides a much varied and enhanced outlook. Every look through the kaleidoscope provides a different projection which in turn leads to an astounding yet unique interpretation. Furthermore, life is much like these projections seen through the eye-piece, where something may be totally different than what one may expect it to be.

So through this event, we plan on bringing forth and amalgamating our ideas to put forth a pleasing and broad image. We believe our speakers will be able to provide insightful yet intriguing talks.

Ashok Rathod

Founder of Oscar Foundation

Ashok Rathod, Founder, OSCAR Foundation Born and brought up in Mumbai’s Ambedkar Nagar slum, Ashok saw many children from his community discontinue education due to poverty. Many children worked as child labourers, fell prey to addiction, or were victims of child marriage in the course of supporting their families. In his personal capacity, he encouraged such children to continue their education, but realised that this challenge was big and that it required a unique approach. A staunch believer in the power of education, Ashok was inspired to start OSCAR Foundation in 2006 despite having little means. Over the last decade, over 3000 children and youth have benefitted from OSCAR’s Football Programme, Education Programme, and Young Leaders Programme in Mumbai, Delhi, Karnataka, and Andhra Pradesh.

Niranjan Hiranandani is the co-founder and managing director of Hiranandani Group. He is an accomplished entrepreneur, ranked by Forbes as one of India's 100 richest people. Hiranandani has established himself as a noteworthy business tycoon in the real estate industry industry. Along with his brother Surendra, he created Hiranandani Gardens. Additionally, he built the acclaimed Hiranandani Hospital in both townships in honour of his father, Dr. L.H Hiranandani, an accomplished surgeon and recipient of the Padma Bhushan award. As an advocate of education, he also manages 22 educational institutions and is on the board of 17 schools, including Hiranandani Foundation School. Hiranandani has always given importance to development in education and having a more personal connection with the students in these schools

Prahlad Kakar

Creative. Charismatic. Candid. These are a few of the many words that can be used to describe our seventh speaker: Prahlad Kakkar. One of India's most prolific ad-film directors, Prahlad Kakkar is the founder of 'Genesis Film Productions'. Founded in 1977, Genesis Film Productions has flourished to become one of India's most iconic production houses. With his passion for ad-filmmaking, Prahlad Kakkar has worked on ad campaigns for several renowned brands such as Pepsi, Nestle, Whirlpool, with celebrated actors like Amitabh Bachchan and Shah. However, his endeavours aren't limited to ad-filmmaking. As an avid scuba-diver, he is the owner of 'Lacadives', a premier scuba diving school in Lakshwadeep islands, and also the co-founder of 'ReefWatch Marine Conservation', which aims to create marine-life awareness.
