In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Cristiana Oprea

After 2 full seasons in the Romanian National Rally Championship, Cristina Oprea became the most active female racing driver in Romania. She’s on a mission to dismantle the “women stereotype”, in motor-sport and in society. Her racing stories, the fun and authentic car reviews and the feminine, empowering daily stories turned Emoticar, her website, in an unique online space. She hopes to encourage other people to be brave and follow their dreams.

Tammy Joanna

Owner & designer Tammy.Studio

Multidisciplinary designer and art installations creator, with a background of formal education in product design and a master in materials, developed tech devices at Bitdefender and was part of the design team of renowned designer Karim Rashid in New York. Currently developing products at her own design business Tammy.studio

Vlad Grigore

Community founder. Adventurer. Trainer

In 2012 Vlad founded Today You Can Do Anything, a community that helps others achieve their dreams and overcome their limits. He experienced The Mongol Rally – one of the Top 10 automotive endurance races and also crossed Baikal Lake on a motorcycle for 1000 km at -35 degrees C. He decided to bring the ocean rowing experience in Romania and created the Black Sea Rowing project, the only ocean rowing boat at the Black Sea. He is also a volunteer in a Search and Rescue NGO, together with his Labrador (Toshi), while also working a full-time job as a Business Development Manager.
