Theme: Scrapbook : Make your lifebook!

Our theme embodies the notion that, in life, it is the journey which matters rather, not the destination. The choices and decisions one make are pieced together and form the paths one takes in life, and the paths one paves for others. Our aim is to inspire attendees to discover their own scrapbooks, to galvanize support for initiatives, ones that “generate by an understanding of themes and ideas that cut across disciplines and of the connections between different disciplines and their relationship to the real world” (UNESCO).

Ameera Aljamal

Ameera Al Jamal, an activist of the rights of persons with psychological disabilities and the founder of our Step Foundation since 2010. Our step Foundation is a non-profit organization that is the first of its kind in the Middle East, represented by individuals with psychological disabilities and their families. They are working to raise awareness of the rights and anti-stigma and exclusion of social and empowerment capacity. Ameera continues to work on achieving her goals to become an expert trained in the member of the board of trustees in the Supreme Council of the rights of people with disabilities.

Farah Matalka

Entrepreneur

Farrah Matalka, 26 years old Jordanian Entrepreneur and a PwC consultant with a demonstrated history of working in the accounting industry. Skilled in Nonprofit Organizations, Public Speaking, and International Relations. Strong information technology professional with a Bachelor's Degree focused in Economic Sociology from Wheaton College Massachusetts. A successful model, who always gave a hand to others and responded to the needs of the less fortunate. تعتبر فرح مطالقة رياديّة أردنيّة تبلغ من العمر 26 سنة، ومتخصّصة في تحليل البيانات وذات تجارب مسبقة غنيّة واضحة للعمل في مجال المحاسبة، ذات مهارة عالية فيما يتعلّق بالمنظّمات غير الرّبحيّة، والتّحدث أمام الجماهير والعلاقات الدّوليّة، نالت شهادة بكالوريوس في مجال تكنولوجيا المعلومات من Wheaton College Massachusetts. تمثّل فرح نموذجًا للنّجاح، فهي دائمة المساعدة للآخرين، ومستمرّة الاستجابة لحاجات الأقل حظًا.

Hani Akasheh

Hani Akasheh is a medical doctor and an entrepreneur who expanded his work beyond the realm of public health by founding ‘Human Energy Management', an educational and training platform that focuses on raising awareness on psychosomatic disease and mental health. Along with that, the doctor has worked on spreading the concept of ‘neuroplasticity’ throughout the youth of Jordan and ultimately bridging the gap between powerful scientific ideas and non-scientific communities. الدّكتور هاني عكشة طبيب ورجلُ أعمال في مجاليّ الصّحة العامّة والتّعليم، والّذي وسّع نطاق تأثيره ليؤسس "إدارة الطّاقة البشريّة" الّتي تعتبر منصّةً تعليميّة تدريبيّة تهتمّ بزيادة الوعي فيما يتعلّق بالأمراض النّفسيّة والجسديّة. كما أنّ الدّكتور عكشة تبنّى نشر رسالة إنسانيّة أساسيّة بين الشّباب الأردنيّ تتمثل في سدّ الفجوة وبناء جسورٍ رّابطة متينة بين قوة الأفكار العلميّة والتّكنولوجيا والمجتمعات الإنسانيّة بهدف إلهام التّطور البشري ودفعه قِدمًا. أسس الدّكتور عكشة شركة غير ربحية تهدف لتقديم تدريبات في علم الأعصاب وتعليم العلوم العصبية لمعلمي رياض الأطفال في المناطق ذات الموارد المحدودة في الأردن

Mahmoud Nabulsi

Mahmoud Nabulsi started an initiative in 2015 called Ezwitti; a social solidarity restaurant to allow the poor and hungry eat with dignity by having his paying customers pay for 2 meals; for themselves and somebody else, anonymously. He also is the Youth and Outreach Program Manager at The Royal Health Awareness Society. He is also the founder of an independent social initiative in 2012 called Tasbeera aimed at filling the growing gap in the humanitarian response, by supplying both Syrian refugees and their Jordanian hosts around Jordan. Mr.Nabulsi has a lot of experience in youth development and participation and civil society in Jordan and the Arab region including Palestinian Camps, refugee communities, conflict and post conflict states. قام محمود النّابلسي عام 2015 بتأسيس مبادرة اجتماعيّة إنسانيّة مستلهمًا الفكرة من تجربته الإنسانيّة وثقافة الضّيافة والكرم فسمّاها "عزوتي"، حيث أنشأ مطعمًا يتيح لزبائِنه فرصة دعوة إنسانٍ من خلال دفع ثمن وجبة لمن يحتاج إلى جانب ثمن وجبته الشّخصيّة. كما أنّ النّابلسي يتولى منصب مدير برنامج الشّباب والتّوعية في الجمعيّة الملكيّة للتّوعية الصّحيّة. ويعتبر مؤسس مبادرة "تصبيرة" والّتي انطلقت عام 2012 لتسدّ الفجوة المتزايدة في الاستجابة الإنسانيّة وذلك من خلال دعم كلٍ من اللاجئ السّوري والمضيف الأردنيّ في جميع أنحاء البلاد. للنّابلسي باعٌ طويلٌ وخبرةٌ ثريّة في مجال تنمية الشّباب والمشاركة على مستوى شتّى المجتمعات الإنسانيّة سواء أكان في المجتمع المدنيّ الأردني، أو في المنطقة العربيّة بما فيها من المخيّمات الفلسطينيّة، ومجتمعات اللاجئين، ومناطق الصّراع وما يليه.

Nada Al-Ahdal

The youngest child marriage activist, Nada Al Ahdal, got married, divorced and imprisoned at the mere age of 10 years old. Her first video hit 8 million views in three days, and a book was written about her story and was translated to 3 languages, she was kidnapped for 14 days from al Qaeda, she established an institution for protecting girls, and was nominated twice for Nobel Prize for children, in 2018 and 2019. Nada funded 3 projects for her institution to help educate 3000 Yemeni girl. She Achieved international prizes, and has a wide commercial presence. Also, Nada represents Yemeni childhood in Rights forums and international events. كانت ندى الأهدل قد زُوّجت وتطلقت وسُجنت قبل أن تبلغ عشر سنوات من عمرها، لتصبح أصغر ناشطة حقوقيّة ضد زواج القاصرات. حقّق أول مقطع مصوّر لها عبر الإنترنت 8 ملايين مشاهدة خلال ثلاثة أيّام، كما أنَّ كتابًا روى قصّتها وقد تُرجم لثلاث لغات مختلفة. تم اختطاف الأهدل من قبل تنظيم القاعدة لمدة 14 يوم. إلّا أنّها تمكّنت من إنشاء مؤسّسة لحماية الفتيات، وقد تمّ ترشيحها للفوز بجائزة نوبل للأطفال مرّتين على التّوالي في عاميّ 2018/ و2019 أشرفت الأهدل على تمويل ثلاثة مشاريع ضمن مؤسّستها للمساهمة في تعليم 3000 فتاة يمنيّة. نالت ندى الأهدل حضورًا إعلاميًّا على نطاق واسع، مما جعلها أهلًا لتمثيل الطفولة اليمنية في المحافل الحقوقية والفعاليات الدولية، ولقبت بسفيرة أطفال العرب من دولة رئيس الوزراء اليمني إضافة إلى كونها سفيرة الطّفولة.

Rawan Jayousi

إعلامية ناشطة في حقوق الانسان و مختصة بالإعلام المجتمعي. عملت جيوسي مديرة لراديو البلد و قامت بالمساهمة في تأسيس إذاعتين مجتمعيتين في اليمن. روان الجيوسي هي مقدمة برنامج" طلة صبح" و مسؤولة الإعلام و الاتصال في مؤسسة الملك حسين, حاصلة على ماجستير حقوق الإنسان من الجامعة الأردنية و خريجة إذاعة و تلفويون.

Sara Abu Ali

Sara Abu Ali, an activist of disable people rights, a founder of an initiative aims to teach the blind children reading and writing by using brail system and to teach speakers the sign language, a member in an initiative that aims at providing the educational textbooks, printed on Microsoft word and recorded, for the universities blind students. Additionally, she found two applications for the goal of helping blinds to reach their in-dependency.
