Being extremely passionate towards climate change has formed my life in an interesting way. Since I’m an equestrian and own my horse, I’m around nature and its precious creatures almost everyday. After finding out about this issue, it has shaped my life to become more appreciative towards the little things our world gives us, like beautiful sunsets and days that are usually full with rushing around. I’m currently a junior at Buena High School, where I first started learning about global warming and climate change. The global change has been a huge eye-opener in my life and I wanted to express the issue through this TedTalk event and give insights on how it has impacted my life. My main idea from this event is to show that we have recognition of this overwhelming concept, but no one really knows where to take the next step. I’m definitely no Great Thunberg, but I would like to get my opinion out into the world to see if we, as a whole, can help our dying planet.
